Would be awesome if it is legit. The only problem then is we'll end up rabidly playing hypothetical demo for the next four weeks or so - will probably drive us even more mental waiting for the full game

What will happen next will either be that someone from Bioware will chime in on this thread and confirm/deny it. Or we'll hear nothing from them... and a demo comes out within a few days.

I'm hoping for the second option. Or Both.

The longer there is no official answer from a bioware rep the more this mistakes seems to be true. If it would be a hoax they simply would deny it but if it's true they will try to keep us in the actual situation and give no comment so that they either don't have to lie or give spoilers.

To be honest, I'd be happier with a character creator, like DA:O had, than a demo.



Of course, a demo that allowed your character appearance to be imported into the full game would be pretty much the best of both worlds... but I don't believe in anything that lucky until I see official confirmation.

But you can still get on the internet, even if you're not at the office, right?

I'm not getting my hopes up, as the Epic Community Event and Epic Countdown Clock taught me my lesson in having zero expectations for these sorts of things. ANd having a pre-release demo seems very odd for BioWare games.

And wouldn't it have been outed as going up on Xbox Live already? Don't they show whats coming up for the next month usually a week or so in advance?

I actually hope the demo is the exaggerated bit that then goes into character creator, and then creates a save for you to use in the game
