It's not one post, it's many people who have long histories of posting here and other places confirming the email.  This would be one of the most elaborately staged hoaxes of all times if it wasn't true. Occam's Razor and all that.

IT IS CONFIRMED by EA Europe.  Accidentally for sure but it's an official source none the less.  The can always backpedal of course but I don't see it happening.

They are most likely watching this thread waiting for the lame suits to wake up tomorrow.  You can't expect execs to make late night decisions.  Those are people who eat salad for lunch, you know?

Perhaps you did not think your post through? I only take offense to bagging on HTTP404 for assuming you thought the demo was coming. I would have never made a similar request unless I knew that something was coming.

Here it comes...ready...You assume everyone thinks like that. And people have played demos before. I only asked in hopes that I could understand how this demo might be.

I haven't read the whole thread...I assume someone examined the email headers to see where it originated?

I personally don't think the email is even real. You know how easy it is to hoax an email? Pretty damn easy.

Maybe February 1st is important because that's when the Dev's will ANNOUNCE a demo. Not necessarily playable immediately though.

I guess, but I think that if you want to give a demo the attention it needs you should announce it, some people don't check for demos.

I seem to recall EA doing somthing like this before. They accidently announced something before hand and removed it hours later after they realized the mistake...though for the life of me I can't remember what it was.
