Eactly the relationship for carver/bethany would be developed better. What if your sister is a total ****? This would ID that and you may be happier when as a mage she is eaten.... (Wow i cant believe I encouraged sibling death...)

The biggest problem with this is that those who didn't download it might feel a little weird if it is referenced. Also, a lot of people don't want more spoils than we already have. I am pushing for the PAX demo.

If it's a full blown demo I'm guessing they'd do something similar to Mafia 2's demo, take a mission from the game and alter a bit so it's more unique. Maybe something from the middle of the game to show off some of the more advanced skills and talents, get a feel for the party system, things like that.

Yeah but this is EA we are talking about.  That will be the first bugged and delayed DLC for DA2.

Well the ME2 demo contained not only the Lazarus base but Mordin's recruitment mission as well.

Well the ME2 demo contained not only the Lazarus base but Mordin's recruitment mission as well. 

Only the PS3 demo. The PC and XBOX was just Lazarus. Or so I've heard, I'm a PS3er

Oh okay, good point. I never got around to downloading the 360 demo to compare it to the PS3 demo, which I did play.

It's Sunday, a very hot topic for what looks to be a damn kick ass game, and the pro bowl was one step up from taking slap shots to the nuts for two hours.  DA2 demo thread it is!

I guess with any demo the thing to consider would be whether its taken directly from the game, or if like the demos for Arkham Asylum or Dead Space 2, its a mish mash of levels sort of glued together to give you a more complete picture of the whole game?



Then again, seeing as a good number of people on the internet think you can't customize Hawke, its likely a good idea to include the character creator with any demo.

There have been a few devs on. One posted in another thread that got locked, which is a fate I am amazed this thread has avoided.

Leads me to believe that they dont want to lend credence to the rumors by locking it. Take that as you will.

haha not to be rude, but in an effort to get less spoilers, you want the PAX demo (which is the opening of the game) instead of a completely unrelated mini-story? that just doesn't make sense to me, but to each their own

and even if it were referenced, to those who never play the demo, it could just seem like a reference to some event in the family history. these are siblings after all, they grew up together,  it makes sense that they would have stories and references to events from before DA2 takes place.
