I seem to recall an article in Russian from one of the Russian conventions where they entered Character Creation and made this beauty:


And then played through up until the Aveline/Wesley/Flemeth bit where with that resolved, it cuts to a cutscene of Hawke and Friends going to Kirkwall and thats where it ended.

Well perhaps a demo is why they haven't gone crazy with character intros and combat walkthroughs.

Yeah, I've been monitoring this thread like a hawke (no pun intended), and when I finally saw the "BioWare" tag pop up, I flipped out. Of course the tears started flowing when it turned out just to be another behavioral conduct warning as opposed to an actual confirmation.

Of course if they don't dispel it now and it does end up being Legends rather than a demo that'll be the biggest anticlimax announcement since the Bazaar.

I don't think anything can top that in terms of disappointment. All you needed when that countdown clock reached zero was this sound.

Honestly, that looks like something from that ridiculous Star Wars: The Clone Wars crap show on Cartoon Network.... Obviously whoever made that doesn't have much of an imagination and had been watching way too much Star Wars.

If it hasn't been denied, it is good as confirmed.

It makes no sense to "lie" to people via silence.  Better to claim there is no demo and then release one then to have people assuming there is one and disappoint them.

I would love a CC. It would keep me busy until the game releases. I can spend quite a bit of time in the CC getting things right.



A demo, however, I am not sure if I would want that. Sorely for the reason of me playing it, and then wanting to continue soooooo badly it will make the wait even worse.

See, I'm the opposite.  I'm less concerned with how my Hawke will look than with how the game plays.

Since there are still concerns about a lot of features - the dialogue wheel, the combat - a demo would go a long way towards putting those to rest, either positively or negatively.
