As was said many times in this thread, it was likely a mess-up by EA-EU someone must have accidently hit the wrong button.

David Gaider told everyone to stop horsing around in the thread and that speculation was okay, but to stay on topic.

He didn't deny anything, which seems oddly out of character for him if this wasn't true.

Images hosted on EA declaring the demo is out, dated for the next major newsletter is NOT speculation.

Yeah, I really think their PR department (in general) has issues... but that's beside the point.
