Photoshop is such a wonderful and versatile tool.
It is, but fortunately for us those pictures weren't photoshoped.
Their links go directly to the EA site.

I made a poll about this a couple months ago, and I support this idea.../../../images/forum/emoticons/cool.pngMike2640 wrote...
Hmmm, i've been thinking about this and I wonder if they might take a leaf out of Dead Rising 2's book and make the demo a kind of prequel/stand-alone adventure. Maybe not featuring Hawke, but something short, that shows off the gameplay and hints at future plots. Maybe having the main protag be one of the companions or something.
I thought Dead Rising: Case Zero was pretty cool, and I certainly wouldn't mind Bioware trying that formula out.

Oh of course, I was just saying that photoshop is a versatile tool. Can't a man post something totally unrelated without people assuming it's ontopic?

I assumed that was just true for Gaider?Dave of Canada wrote...

Yes.
They like seeing people squirm and are filling their tear reserves.

Lack of readily available contradictory evidence does not mean that it does not exist. Unfortunately, in this case. I'd like for that to be true, but perhaps they know that we'd be speculating to this effect in the first place?namedforthemoon wrote...
I think that if there wasn't going to be a demo, they would have said the email was wrong. Or a hoax, or a mistake. Since they haven't... It makes me think that the email must be true. Their silence is their confirmation.

You were doing so well until the last sentence.
Still if it help the Varric thread keep moving I'm all for that 'logical' set of assumptions.

Leading to a very long chain of "But they know that we know" reasoning. All in the name of messing with us/harvesting our sorrow.

Which gives me tons of hope for Varric being an LI. Yes!

I didn't say that the e-mail was a mistake. Only that the assumption that, because you don't know of anything/haven't seen anything to contradict what you observe, it must be true, is a bad way to go about something that you're hoping for coming true.makenzieshepard wrote...
Sorry but the pictures and email really negate the whole 'mistake' reasoning.
Which is perfectly fine. Id be pleased to see a demo for DA 2, but I'm not going to place any high hopes (or any hopes at all, except that of my most foolish) on an e-mail.makenzieshepard wrote...
It's in three languages AND ON EA'S OWN WEBSITE and these kind of jump the gun annoucements have happened multiple times in regards to other Bioware/EA games. It's practically their calling card.
Good to see someone else thinks EA is not stupid/evil.makenzieshepard wrote...
That only leaves the deliberate hoax on the part of EA option. Which AFAIK is something that has never, ever been done. It's just not smart buisness outside of something on April 1.
