Lol. Well, it's 2 AM where I am, and I had a long day at work, so forgive my brain fart.

One would think David Gaider would know if there were a demo or not, and if this were merely a horrible typo he'd have said something to that effect.

Maybe the problem was not the demo itself but the ''out now''. Since it is not out yet and I think that if there was no demo than David Gaider would have said so in his post in this thread. I mean they wouldn't just mislead the fans like this ... or would they?

I agree that this is the most likely explanation, but they seriously should have done their "damage control" several hours ago. To be fair, it's possible that a bunch of wires got crossed and this was the earliest that they could "fix" it, but.... ugh, it's frustrating. And disappointing.

And is it just me, or does a simple photoshop job and no announcement feel really... passive-aggressive?

yes, I think there is a good chance that there are fixing the mistake of announcing it early by taking out the Demo part, but really people have seen it word has spread, might as well fess up to it lol

Yes a typo in three languages on three different images.

You know I could almost buy that if EA EU's "oopsies wasn't supposed to say that yet" incidents didn't happen with the regularity of the morning sunrise.

Still it's a thought that can fool the new kids and stave them off till the 1st.

They probably thought (hoped) that the Scandinavians were sleeping when it happened.

Actually I could David simply not say anything at all. Let them speculate and make assumptions. He has mentioned before that the forums sometimes get it right, but most times also seem to just blow things way out of proportion. That said, I have no idea one way or the other. Just if it was a mistake, I could see them simply just not saying a word at all. And if it is still coming, again, they wouldn't say anything until it's time to be officially announced.

It's not just you. But we have to give them the benefit of the doubt. I might have done the same thing in their position.
