I'd think that some people in the forum should stop thinking that they are the only ones who buy Bioware's games and that the devs should do things as they like. Or not, either way is fine by me.

Well....' If ' there is to be a demo, then obviously it will be a console exclusive...we garner so much from the change in direction .
But meh ..I would welcome it so.
Then after it gets dumped on by console maybe we might see Bioware retain DA as a tactical rpg not a dumbed down hack n slash fest.
it's funny to me that people like you think like this no matter how much evidence there is to the contrary.
i ask you, no snark, no name calling, no rudeness, just out of curiosity: Has Bioware ever released a game guilty of the (subjectively) bad things you think will be present in DA2?
note: due to the fact that you haven't played DA2, you can't say with any certainty what it will and won't be, that's why i ask if, in your mind, there is a precident.

Weird because from day one Bioware have marketed this game as an Action rpg.
Just as we have resident forumite bootkissers....we also have those that feel totally disenfranchised....me !
When 'WE' all bought into the DA franchise...we recieved what we expected a complex tactical rpg.
Interestingly the brown tongues are to be presented with a game they didn't subscribe to or particularly want...yet they defend all the changes as a good thing (donks)....when the direction change is fundementally different
Which I find amusing and just like the New Vegas forum i'm sticking around for .....Desert.

Really? because they have already shown combat videos that displays the tactical gameplay of origins. All they did was remove that ridiculus shuffle and clunky dice roll movement.philbo1965uk wrote...

having been around the old forums for about ~4-5 months before DAO released, i can tell you people were just as sure that it was a "dumbing down of bioware's cRPG roots" as they are sure the DA2 is guilty of same "dumbing"

I have a question: Even if DAO waas a complex tactical RPG and DA2 an action RPG (howewer you can play it with alle the tactic that was present in DAO, and in a thread a dev said that when he was playing on normal without pausing a lot, he lost the first tough battle he encounter), why a person can't enjoy both complex RPG and an action RPG? Is this necessary a sign of "forumite bootkissers" or simply the sign that some people could like different game genre?

the cycle of douchiness will continue throughout the whole series of dragon age games, that's the thing i can certainly guarantee.

You're making the mistake of taking him seriously.
With regards to the date, the time that matters - I assume - is Bioware local time. Not the fact it's February 1 on the other side of the planet.
