Because if they confirmed anything either way, it would be all over the internets in five minutes. Either they want to make it a big announcement instead of "well, okay", or there's some compelling reason to let the rumor stew.

I've never before cared enough to play a demo so I don't really know this: how long is it usually? Does it come out only on one certain platform or on multiple ones?

Oh come on.  Nobody at Bioware works.  They just read the forum all day waiting to post something to crush all our dreams.  It is what they live for.

Sometimes demos are modified parts of the game - in Ghost Trick the demo was a piece of a particular chapter with a modified script. In Okamiden, if I'm not mistaken, was a tutorial that wasn't in the real game. Both of them were real short, but that depends.

Oh come on.  Nobody at Bioware works.  They just read the forum all day waiting to post something to crush all our dreams.  It is what they live for.

Technically their passion is creating the most amazing story based games on the planet -- crushing our dreams is something they do in their spare time simply for the enjoyment of it.

I agree, kind of. If it really was just a typo on EA's part, I'd think some kind soul would have tried to kill the rumor already. But they might see it as spreading the word about the game, good for morale (?), or maybe they just don't know whether or not there's going to be a demo. Somehow.

Dragon Age 2 will be at The Prago Ffest in Praha in the Czech Republic on February 3.



Dragon Age 2 will also be at the Taipei Game Show in Taipei Taiwan from February 18-22.



So if you are anywhere near Praha or Taipai, make sure you check out Dragon Age 2 before it launches!

it's not necessary a gold account too download demo. I downloaded DS2 demo without it.
