The newsletter links to EA's server. Thus as soon as EA themselves changed the banner, they updated the newsletter as well.

I'll say it again: lack of Bioware confirmation/denial is proof enough for me. Demo out tomorrow.

If it's a hoax, oh well. I'm mature enough to handle disappointment.

Yes, Someone totally hacked the EA servers and put the false line DEMO out now in the banner and sent it out to cause mass confusion, it just happened to coincide with a date Bioware has been hinting at since awakening.

Bioware themselves then posts in this thread but doesn't lock it.

I read the whole article. The guy who wrote it says that he hasn't read this thread but he somehow thinks that posters in this thread have figured out that it's a scam. How do you figure that out without reading the thread?

Yes, I saw those two images. And I saw those two images last night when they were on EA's website. The first when it was in Finnish, Danish and Norwegian, and then again after EA ran to fix their mistake.

While it's probably been said 100,000,000 times seeing as the threads 71 pages long at this stage, longer than some companion threads, I'd say that the devs have now seen this thread and even posted in it indicates a good chance that it's totally real. Gaider posted about "trolling" on this thread.  I think he wanted us to continue to speculate on our own.  maybe there is a demo.  But Im not one to count my chickens before they hatch.  But people are free to speculate how they want.  we will know tomorrow, not point getting too caught up in it.

Oh I know, I won't be annoyed if there isn't a demo.

I'm just saying that if it wasn't true, I'd think that Gaider would have just stated that it wasn't true.

They also didn't say anything about the Dead Space 2 armor being real or fake in the threads about it being available in Russia

I was here when this thread was about 2 pages long and I was about to head for work (I don't post much though so you probably didn't know ). I checked the EA servers myself as well and I saw the original image. Some people don't listen I swear, this could be a muck up on EA's side and there is no demo but it's not a Hoax that's for sure.

I would say there is about a 80% chance of a demo and 20% chance of an EA europe muck-up.

They are saying it's a scam based on this very thread, which is very interesting considering we haven't made such a claim yet, everything related to the banners changing was concluded to be EA's own doing. Hence, who ever posted that is talking out of his arse. He even admits to not reading the whole thread (understandable) but now there's other people reading that crap and coming into this very thread and repeating the crap.

Exactly! They link to a newsletter that last night mentioned a "demo" as evidence that it was all a scam.

This, they updated the banner today, it was definatly saying Demo out now earlier.

Again I'm 100% sure the demo is real, the question is not if we get the demo, but when we get the demo.

Whether there is a demo, or there's no demo, I hope it's so for all platforms. I noticed a disturbing tendency of console-only demos from some publishers, including EA.

I'm fairly convinced too. Pre-DAO, all threads concerning demos were locked down almost immediately, and this one has been up for 19 hours.

I think we may be jumping the gun in regards to tomorrow, this could easily be planned for any date, not nessecarely tomorrow.
