Even if they didn`t have a demo planned, I bet they`re setting one up now so that they don`t disappoint so many people.

It is a BioWare policy not to comment on speculation threads.

All this hype is entirely self induced.

If you choose to believe that a mistake in a web advertisement that was quickly taken down is iron clad confirmation of something, then you are resposible for your own disappointment and the only person you have to be pissed off at is yourself.

We have no idea if the original email was a complete mistake or if it was referring to a demo that might come out after the game was released.

Please manage your expectations accordingly.

Fisrt thing for me will b to make a DwarfRogue Hawke.  And when I can't I will rage for days.

I will miss my dwarves.  The part where you had a dude speaking for you in the noble origin was the most unique experience I've had gaming in years.  I enjoyed it so much I ended up giggling.  But seeing my Hawke and Hawkettes... that's going to rock some crazy ass!

I don't blame them for being skeptical. They didn't see the images pre-edit while they were hosted on EA's servers. They've only seen screenshots of the images, which could easily be photoshopped. 

Oh don't blame them for being skeptical either, but the fact their claiming this whole things a scam without actually looking for the truth and then to say that people on this thread have given proof that its fake is just stupid.
If they would have said "it may or may not be a scam only time will tell" it would have been fine, but saying its a scam without a shadow of a doubt is just bad journalism.

Well they'll get just what they deserve if* and when this proves not to be a scam: they will lose what little credibility they have left.

*I say "if" for the sake of political correctness

C'mon, we waited a year, one more month won't hurt will it? If there isn't a demo, it's not BioWare's fault that this misinformation was released. So we should blame the creator of that email and blame them.

What? Bioware has commented on tons of speculation threads. Remember the pregnancy  thread? They have no trouble coming in and setting things straight, especially if a thread has gone on this long, and is this popular.

Uh, just a quick correction: The actual images were corrected some 9-10 hours after the begining of this thread. I would not consider that "quickly taken down" at all.

That's what I thought at first, but I have seen it stated a number of times on the forum that that is not the case.  I think someone from Bioware said that February 1 still means something, though I don't have a link so I am not certain.
