So, I've been gone all day, I see still no word from Bioware beyond DG telling us to play nice in the thread.



So - what time does the demo come out?

I don’t think anyone wants to rain on anyone’s parade (well, maybe a few), I think some are just saying there is no reason to get angry at Bioware if the demo doesn’t pan out, that it’s okay to be disappointed, but if anger is an issue, be angry at yourself and not Bioware, who has not confirmed any demo.
And, I am not calling anyone a fibber, but I don’t ever fall for “I have a friend on the inside.” Unless I see a Bioware employee confirm it, then it didn’t or isn’t going to happen.That being said: I really hope it's a demo.

There are hopes of LI info on valentines day... but then again we didn't get anythign on Christmas so the chances aren't that high.

Indeed, I'm not trying to say that it isn't possible either, but that it's not fact because one random poster said they had a friend with insider information.  It could be true, it could not be true.

Who had inside information, and how was it confirmed?

A few pages back a member on this site who lives in Edmonton Canada mentioned that h/she has a friend who works in the Bioware QA department. This friend then mentioned that two weeks ago they were working on a demo for Dragon Age 2. Of course we are still waiting for devs to officially say something.

You can't balive anything a random poster says on a message board.  I should know I live with David Gaider and he laughs when people do.

What? Bioware has commented on tons of speculation threads. Remember the pregnancy  thread? They have no trouble coming in and setting things straight, especially if a thread has gone on this long, and is this popular. 

BioWare has commented on plenty of threads that speculate about things that are in the game.
BioWare tends not to comment on projects outside the game as I believe this would be considered.

Regardless of the veracity of anonymous internet sources, we don't know when that supposed demo was supposed to be released.

that would be me  i have no "confirmation" to offer aside from my word. and you and all the others are welcome to disbelieve me, as long as you acknowledge that i was right when the demo is anounced

I think the greater amount of evidence we have indeed points to a demo then not, possibly on the 1st of February. Then again nothing is confirmed, I think it's just highly likely.

You know at this point a Demo would just be gravy.  This thread has kept me entertained since last night.  I have already got my moneys worth.
