I didn't know she wasn't officially a romance. Certainly felt like it was leading that way. Ashley was nice enough but just didn't click with me. Liara came across as the galaxy's oldest 14 year old, so I never felt comfortable flirting with her. Tali was just the one squadmate I clicked with the most.
ME2: Tali
Hey I wasn't imagining something in 1 after all! Was a very sweet payoff for waiting it out instead of going for what was convenient in 1.
Kate Shepard (Second playthrough)
ME1: Liara
I planned on romancing Kaidan since he was so underused and died so heroically on my first playthrough. But he ended up annoying me by acting jealous of Liara before I ever had a single private conversation with her, so I chewed him out and kicked him to the curb. So ended up giving Liara a little more of a chance.
ME2: Liara
Finally Liara felt old enough to date. Amazing what a difference two years makes. The dialogue during Shadow Broker made her another good long term relationship investment like Tali was for my Main.

Stayed faithful too.
ME2: Miranda, Jack, Kelly, Jacob, and Garrus. Thane is a little to alien for me, and he's dying. Tali feels wrong because being together makes her sick.

My ME1 game didn't crash when I brought it into ME2 so I don't see why it would crash in ME3. But, if it does then so be it. At least I was able to enjoy PT's ME1 and ME2 playthroughs.
As for 3 with the same romance... why not? I enjoyed the Liara romance with each one of them.
ME2 was exception since both MaleShep and FemShep had same dialogue with them.
ME3 will be different. There game will crash or your FemShep will talk in MaleShep voice.

I was under the impression that the devs never posted in the Mass Effect forums. However, your inside information on what will happen to my game in ME3 has proven me wrong. Thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule working on the Ashley romance for ME3 to let me know that my game will crash horribly if I attempt to import it. Call me shallow but lack of lesbian relationships killed any motivation to play a female version of Shepard. Even though her VA is much better.

I find that I do a lot less cringing at my desk when I avoid those scenes in Bioware games. I get an odd kind of pride out of having that achievement greyed-out.

ME1 - My main choice is always Liara. Soo cute.

ME2 - Miranda. She have the voice of Sarah Walker from Chuck, i cant resist Yvonne Strahovski.
Also i would like so much to have both (Liara or Ashley, and Miranda) in my team on ME3, and watch a catfight. That would be awesome. I would try again the threesome option and hope for the best.
