And besides, I don't go around telling other people that it's wrong to dislike Miranda. I know very well she's not for everyone and that she has some less likeable attributes that make her anathema for some. With Garrus, disliking him seems to be some sort of political incorrectness here in the forums, so It needs to be said: there are valid reasons to dislike Garrus, be they personal or not. And disliking him is just as valid as disliking any other character.

These threads are always so funny. How does one hate a character. Dislike, not fond off, not interesting maybe, but hate?
I am forgiving and naive in nature, so to me I try see the positive in every thing before I go on a tanget and spew some dribble about my issues about something or someone I "hate". (I have my rants sometimes of course)
I mean every character (squad mate) have very good qualities and some bad ones. Alot of people like to focus on the negative. That's fine I guess, but take this to heart, looking at only one angle of an argument makes you look like an idiot, later when you are revealed as such, so make a decision based on an objective view.
Similair to Miri haters that base their whole argument on a one or two ass shots and couple of lines in the beginning of the game.
Same with Tali haters who do so because of the Talimancers.
Be objective and you might not hate anymore.

well Garrus is said to have a huge stick up his ass, especially in ME1. You didn't get me: the only thing people are in denial about is that it's actually possible to dislike Garrus. It's quite funny to see people spouting "if you dislike Garrus you're wrong" and "Lock this topic already" and "this is so funny. this thread should stay open...it reminds some people that there are others who don't agree to their opinions...
again..don't hate Garrus but not a big fan of his...except his loyalty mission i never use him..not even as a squad leader in the SM...wasn't that big on him in ME1 either...recruited him cause i wanted a full squad...
