I will be porting my City Elf playthrough. Not necessarily what I would have done... But it's her story and I liked the character.

- took the bribe money from Vaughan
- sacrificed Isolde in the ritual
- rejected Alistair's romantic crush
- lied to Morrigan about killing Flemeth
- talked Alistair into marrying Anora
- recruited Loghain
- agreed to the dark ritual with Morrigan
- ran off to Antiva with Zevran

 I'm kind of hoping that Alistair cameo happens not just if you exile him, but also if your female warden doesn't put him on the throne and they disappear into the sunset for fun adventures. I don't expect the warden to show up, but maybe if Hawke meets Alistair there could be a mention of the warden 

I do have a 'no compromise' kind of playthrough though if need be, with my jerk Cousland male exiling Alistair, marrying Anora, then making Loghain sacrifice himself. I'll have to import that one at some point just because it's so different from my other playthroughs.

I'm going to import a couple of different save files with different characters to see if there's any impact on DA2.



I will have at least 4 diff save files with 4 diff endings from DAO soon enough.

Which save I import depends on whether or not there is a mention that the mage Warden is related to the Champion of Kirkwall. But as of now I'm stuck between mage warden and cousland warden.

 DAO is  still one of my all time top games ill replay it even after i get DA2 heck i still play Kotor

No, never mind. I don't want to hear it.

Because my character was a cowardly kid who thought her family would be executed if she didn't leave. She thought she's gotten herself into such a huge mess that there is no way out of it other than take the money and run, hopefully sparing the Alienage of being razed. Little did she know that the end result would be the same regardless. :/ Vaughan paid for it in the end though.

I hadn't actually thought what imports I would have for subsequent play throughs, but this characters one will be the main playthrough. Alistair is king, Morrigan has her baby, and I'm off with Leliana somewhere.



Reading all this has made me play again, so I might import this play through (male human) for one of them, where I end up as king. Haven't decided whether I will sacrifice Alistair or father a demigod yet though.

I had 5 different playthroughs, that encompassed the different choices/classes/races. I was really looking forward to seeing how the choices in DAO affected DA2.

Then this week... My Xbox died...

Now I might have nothing...

-Well, I have a racist, sinister, selfish, female city elf warrior with the biggest, ugliest mace you've ever saw. She doesn't fit in any of the given backstories, she's simply too evil for that.

-A dwarf noble who've never let anything slide, every crime in his sight was punished with unstoppable force. I guess he fits the No Compromise title.

-A human noble (I know, it's lame to play a human noble in an RPG where you can be dwarf and such), he is basically the Hero of Ferelden with some hardened decisions. (Kept both Alistair and Loghain, the former sent to the throne, the latter being in my party, I'm interested to see if this particular setup is taken not of)

And've had four others, but before a system reinstall I did not make a backup of them, back then I didn't know there will be an opportunity to import.



So, as for the class-race combos, no, not really, but otherwise I do have some playthroghs which fit the backstories.

And for answering your question, my dwarf commoner is just on his way to be The Martyr. Again, the combo differs from the DA2 default backstory, but never mind.

Not to match those backstories but I have made a host of different endings to see what changes with different imports. I plan to do the same for Awakening.

No. I have six saves (one for each origin) on my 360 console and two on my PC.



After about ten full playthroughs altogether (two I deleted) and a gazillion that didn't make it beyond Ostagar or whatever, I decided to put Origins away for good.



I think one save for each gender/class and what not in DA2 is good enough as far as I'm concerned.

The save I've kept as my "primary import" pretty much follows the HN/Alistair is King/Dark Ritual storyline, and I'm currently recreating the Dalish US storyline for future playthroughs (already had one like this, but It was pre-Awakening didn't keep the save). Just curious to see how many of the events are referenced in DA2, outside of the major stuff, and how much impact they have in the sequel.

I've also got another save which doesn't follow any of the defaults (CE/Alistair sacrifice). Might make another with a human mage for the Amell connection if time allows.

I'm probably only gonig to use my Dalish rogue, who put Bhelen on the throne, destroyed the anvil, saved all of redcliffe, got the mage tower to help with the redcliffe castle so all survived, cured the werewolves and saved the dalish, saved the mage tower, destroyed the dragon cult, it's deity and did not defile the sacred urn due to reverence for Andraste who freed the elves eventhough he hates the chantry, murdered Vaugnan in cold blood in his cell. Romanced Leliana (though only for the achivement). Married Alistair to Anora, killed Loghain, Did the ritual, killed the archdemon. Saved Amaranthine and reinforced the keep enough to have it survive the siege, killed the Architecht. Cleared out Angorrak, allowed Morrigan to enter the Eluvian as she was a precious friend of his.

Except for Bhelen, that's fairly close to my main. A Dalish warrior, she romanced Alistair early on, then they broke up when he revealed his parentage. She slept with Zevran and Isabella on the rebound, then finally fell for Leliana and they stayed together for the rest of the game.

I wanted to make my human noble king (well, prince-consort) just to see how it will affect DA2, but at the end of Awakening, epilogue says that one day the warden suddenly disappears which was kinda lame. So I decided I'd rather walk into the portal with Morrigan.

Personally I am creating new saves that are completely different from the announced 3, no point in recreating an option that will be represented to everyone, no offense meant just my opinion.

I just did a super thorough completion playthrough. I made sure every quest chain is done, because I want to see those one line dialogue cameos that are important but still make you say: "hey my warden did that" It was city-elf, sacrificed herself, married a non-hardened Alistair and Anora together, who was mostly good, except for maybe siding with Branka and saving the Anvil of the Void. I think I accidentally sacrificed Isolade to save Connor's life too :S

I just recently finished Dragon Age: Origins with my Warden sacrificing himself, Alistar being placed on the throne, Logain executed by Alistar, and some other stuff. I tried to do as many good, generous, or helpful things I could (Save Logain's execution because I didn't want Alistar to be mad). I think i'm happy with my story for now.

I just finished a play through on a city elf rogue. He made the ultimate sacrifice and tried to save as many people as possible. Although Logain was beyond redemption. I left Alistair and Anora in charge. I made one save for ultimate sacrifice and one for ritual.
