Hi Dragon Age 2 fans

I have just recieced word that Dragon Age 2 will be at 2 more consumer events before we launch in March.

Dragon Age 2 will be at The Prago Ffest in Praha in the Czech Republic on February 3.

Dragon Age 2 will also be at the Taipei Game Show in Taipei Taiwan from February 18-22.

So if you are anywhere near Praha or Taipai, make sure you check out Dragon Age 2 before it launches!

How do Taiwan view western RPG's? The stereo type for Asia is that they disregard anything it if it isn't an MMO. Taiwan is certainly not a place I've heard much about regarding video game preferences.

Pilsner is better IMO

Well, Taiwan has the tradition of ancient China, was ruled by Japan for many years, and was protected by US after the civil war with mainland. We here are quite open to multiple cultures. While WoW might be the most large trunk of gamers, there are also many console gamers here in Taiwan.

There have always been niche for WRPGs, from as early as Wizardry.
BG and TES made the group grow. Recent games like DA/ME/FO3 also helped a lot since the JRPGs of this generation are quite disappointing. While we still can't catch up with the number of JRPG fans, we are getting close.

Taipei.... Not too far from here and I don't think I'll need a visa if it's just a few days... But school will just have started and I have these terrible premonitions... Hmmmmmm.... Gonna have to think about this. Luckily it'll take me only 3 hours to get there if I decide to go

Edit: and I've wanted to try that night market food for some time. Heard there's some really nice food that'll make you forget the ones you miss from home
