Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
Wait you want Earth in 2186 to look like 2010?
Of course you mean the location and variety is always good. It will be interesting to see where else Bioware chooses. It will be the big and impressive cities, so there certainly on the cards.
I can picture a lot of comparisions of Halo ODST. Sci-fi Earth battles will clearly have a lot of similarities but I think Bioware can also learn a lot from that game.

I reckon the Monarchy would be gone, seeming as they have been degrading to the point of now just being a tourist attraction. With the absence of a Monarchy there would be a lot less traditional buildings and more ultra modern buildings (the royals are awfully conservative when it comes to architecture). These new range of modern buildings can already be seen to be surfacing on the skyline of London such as the beautiful 'Shard' that is being built.

Ya know, just looking at that building now. I love the look of it, but does anyone else think it looks like some sort of super villains headquarters?

A more slummy metropolis would look like this IMO.

No! of course not! it would have a lot of 2180s buildings/towers like this;

Can you spot the Petronas Twin Towers?

The more well-off areas will probably be a cross of Illium, New Mombasa, and the codex image.

As much as I love it, remove Coca Cola sign.

Is it the one in the middle in very far back?

Ha! That'd be very interesting. Just once, we actually fail to save the Earth so we have to go pick a human colony to call our new homeworld.
It could actually have potential for new Mass Effect games!
Really? You want to see humanity loose it's homeworld? How about the other races? Asari? Salarians? Krogan?
What about their homeworlds?
