Bit of an odd question, but I've been thinkong of starting a new game. When I get to the capital city, if I go and recruit Silk Fox before I do anything else, will I screw up any of the sidequests? I've already played through the game a few times, and would like to see some 'new' party member responses to the sidequests. Same deal with the sidequests in Tien's Landing if I rush out to recruit Sky or Black Whirlwind or whoever.

Some areas might not be available later on (depending on your decisions). Other than that you can't really screw up side quests.



As a side note: I always recruit Silk Fox ASAP in the Imperial City.

Thanks. I usually try to avoid anything that could be considered advancing the main story until there's nothing left to do in the area.
