Haha, I think it's kinda sad that Seb has such negativity due to him being a DLC-only character. Honestly I find him very attractive and hoping that there's a chance he'd be a DLC LI, but meh, if it doesn't happen so be it eh?

..Though I do think it's a poor move to make him a DLC-only character, they should have probably saved that slot for a shale-like character, instead.

Anyways imo too, I don't see Varric as a LI material, but it won't matter much to me IF he happens to be an official LI, I would still gladly playthrough his romance path just to see how the narration and  the story would go.

Bioware is practically known for having half of the original armor as dlc, and about a quarter of the content.
It's one of the things I hate them for.

I wouldn't mind Seb being a LI IF he was a "bonus" one. If they say something like "hey guys we're giving you two females to romance and one male unless you buy DLC, then you can have two males" Then I'd be mad.



As for Varric not being an LI because he's a dwarf, thats kinda stupid, they need love to ya know. Personally I think he'd be a great LI, I wouldn't be heartbroken if he's not, but for the sake of those who would be heartbroken I hope he is an LI.

Agree with you on the first point. I'd rather he'd be a bonus too and not take up slots on available LIs. I know people will hate him to hell if that's the case.

As for Varric's case, I see him more like my super-close-best-buddy type. But hey, that's just my opinion, I'm hoping you all get what you want in the end too, and Gaider wouldnt have to come here feeding on all of our misery daily speculating whose a LI and whos not.

I would HAVE to have done a female dwarf noble playthrough just to see that scene!

Oh, um, on topic ... the only one I feel confident is going to be a LI is Isabella. This will mean, of course, she is the only one who isn't!

Where are you getting that? There's no proof of anything other than an Isabella and male Hawke encounter right now. Sebastian could be -the only- M/M option (which would stink for M/M fans). Or Merrill/Aveline could be F/F along with Isabella. We have no way of knowing ATM.

And are there any indications that everything is going to be equal for the genders anyway? It's not like they've never skewed bias towards male gamers before. Just look at the ads.

Well, we've seen enough if Isabela in the videos to KNOW she's a LI...and from origins...bi at that.
