And whoever that mage dude is, he is most likely 100% confirmed too. I'm pretty confident. Just like when we speculated Garrus and Thane, heh.



Just leaves Varric and Seb which is pretty challenging.

I have to say, I am not getting anything even remotely resembling a love interest vibe from Fenris. I mean, I guess I hope he is for the people who desperately want him to be (so long as they are kind enough to hope Sebastian is the first DLC LI Bioware has given us, because, um ... yeah, I would really like him to be a LI.), but I just don't see it.

Haha, yeah but the ones looming the forefront are still Fenris, Varric and Isabella A part of me gets kinda sad to know Seb is DLC, but we can't have everything (like Zaeed's love )

We all know Zaeed had his one true love, and that was Jessie.

More on topic, I'd love to see Fenris as an LI, but some of the dev comments on his thread have me thinking they aren't going that route.  I kinda wish they would just confirm or not outright who the LIs are, so I can stop getting my hopes up.

I don't understand all the rage about DLC.

You can choose to buy it or not, it's totally fair in my point of view.

And if someone was unable to get the DLC for some reason (ie. Internet connection), I have to say sorry but obviously Bioware did not put it into consideration when they decided to make a DLC or deem it troublesome enough to stop making DLC.

It will be great if Sebastian become the first DLC LI, think of the possibilities in future Bioware games!

Hmmm. There are some good reasons here for Varric being an LI, which I have been rather skeptical of, though hopeful. My hopes for LIs are as follows:

M!Hawke: Isabela, Aveline, Varric

F!Hawke: Fenris, Isabela, Varric

However, I think Merrill will likely be the M/F Romance rather than Aveline. Though to be honest, I'd be happy with either. Either way, I'm sure I will enjoy getting all the romance achievements immensely! Much like I did in Origins.

Exactly my thinking. He's all broody and troubled and stuff. Basically Edward with lyrium tattoos and pointy ears. And we know Gaider is an admirer of the Twilight romance (I know, I know, I couldn't believe it when I read it either...)

The only companion that I honestly care about being an LI... is not even confirmed yet. IF Anders is a companion, I expect him to be a LI. I suppose this makes me seem like a silly fangirl, but dammit, I was very disappointed when Anders couldn't be romanced. I soon got over it and fanfiction/fanart helped heal the wound. It never even crossed my mind that Anders may be in DA2 until that one shot revealed a guy that looks like him. Now... I fully expect, if Anders is a companion, that he be romancible to make up for the missed opportunity from Awakening.  If  he is on Team Hawke, but not an LI, I will pull a Vader and wail out a long 'Noooo'... no matter where I am. Then, I'd imagine David and Chris laughing maniacally, taking shots(or whatever they prefer), and tenderly hugging their giant jugs of tears. Now, if that isn't, indeed, Anders... then oh well. >xD

As for who I think will the LIs... Varric/"Anders", Fenris, Isabela, and Merrill.

I'm not sure about Aveline. I get a sisterly-vibe from her. Though, if she were/is, I would not complain.

Why woud anyone think that Anders is bi. I got no inkling of it in DAA. I think the bi are Isabela and Fenris. I personally don't like Varrick or Fenris, so I hope the dev team has someone for us who aren't particular for both of them.  Also there wasn't a problem with Alistair and a non-Cousland.  My mage and elf ended up with Alistair in the end even after making him a king, stayed as his mistress and he ended up going with them in the end (slideshow endings).

Same reason I put Hawke (male and female) in. Since the poll says that it is without regard to whether that person can realistically be a love interest, might as well include anyone people find attractive. Afterward I thought about adding Cassandra and Meredith, but... eh. That probably IS a little too far.

Besides. I know there are a lot of people angry that you can't romance your siblings. I thought it'd be interesting to see just how many people wanted it.
