God I know its your opinion but that would just make the game boring and a bit annoying. Sten was boring and Justice was intresting at first but he complaines way too much...Glad I got to chop off his head at the end-Skorpious- wrote...
The DA2 cast is shaping up to look like a bunch of careless, hippy, hedonists. I also hear they are good at swooping, which is apparently bad.
DA2 needs more Sten and Justice type characters.
Well, I said more, not all. Anyways, I appreciate characters who value duty over endless drivels of inappropriate humor and depression (Alastair anyone?). Thats not to say I dislike comedic relief in party members - I loved both Garrus' and Sten's dry humor.

Aveline sounds like your kind of character. Maybe Carver too?

Anyway, Zev. Cuz he got the shaft as far as Origins LI DLC goes. I really liked Finn, too. Oh, and I do expect to see Nathaniel in DA2 in one capacity or another, or I'm going to be uber disappointed.

It's not just you. She's the only one that even has custom clothing, everyone else wore default junk. I would've loved to have Leliana wear her trailer outfit, and Wynne and Alistair in their concept costumes.tehprincessJ wrote...
Zev. Possibly redesigned to be more like his concept art. Is it just me, or did it seem as if a whole bunch of time was spent designing Morrigan's hair/clothes, but nobody elses's?

Oh I love Garrus but Sten was just way too much of a stick in the mud for me. Plus you could lighten up Garrus a lot while Sten just stay a stick in the mud! Yes I hate him but I did try to explore him but...he never changed in my eyes. Alistar was a teammate to me, I didn't care for him that much and he was a little too winey. My favorite was Morrigan or Shale type personality...and to go way back add HK-47! I like the mean, dark, sarcastic type humor. But please no Sten types anything but him!-Skorpious- wrote...

I don't really want any of the Origins companions to return. I love them all (mostly) but it wouldn't feel "right" to me to have any of them back. But I'm sentimental like that.

Seeing as the story line for DA2 will involve qunari, sten is a bad idea...Though I would like it
Leliana is off galavanting with my warden so thats no good.
Wynne most likely wouldnt survive the 10 year span....otherwise she would be on my list
Zeveran is possibly dead depending on the imported game
Ogrhen is around and kicking but I think 3 games might be a little too much..
Sigrun--Never really used her...
That elf chick---dont remember name...you get the idea
Anders--I like him, but he is a one game squadmate imo.
Those I would like to see..
Nathaniel--I play as a human noble, which made this character really interesting to me, and the dynamic between him and the warden very neat....which made him one of my favorite characters
Justice--A unique character in my opinion, I enjoyed the conversations about him seeing the world for the first time, nad would like to see what happens further down the road.
Shale--I like Shale....thats pretty much all there is to that.

Okay, fine, his character would bear further exploration. Awakenings, while fun, didn't allow sufficient time or conversation options to properly get to know our companions. I'd welcome the opportunity to get to know him better, explore his background and family and finally, once more utilise his skills as an archer.
How's that?

Either Loghain or Gorim. Loghain was my favorite party member after Morrigan - he may have had a few screws loose, but he did everything that he did because he honestly felt that it was in the best interest of his Ferelden. I never even finished a dwarf warden (just the origins), and yet Gorim was one of my favorite NPCs.
I'm looking forward to a fresh cast of characters though (excluding Merill and Isabela of course - although they are still pretty much new).

- Wynne. She's brilliant. A cameo, a companion, either way doesn't matter as long as I saw her again. I'd also love to meet her son somehow, to put a mention to that thread floating around the other day.
(While I'm going on about Wynne, Dr. Chakwas for companion in ME3?)
DAO-Awakening
- Anders. He reminded me of a less-innocent Alistair (who I loved) that was also a mage, and I love mages. I always seem to parade around with a bunch of mages in my party on single-player games or associate myself with other mage players on multi-player games.
DAO-Leliana's Song
- Sketch. I found myself feeling sorry for Sketch in the short amount of time we got to know him. I think his own adventures post-Leliana would be interesting to hear.
DAO-Witch Hunt
- Finn. I liked Ariane being a strong female warrior, but we have Aveline and that will also be my Female Hawke. I'm curious about Finn's future as well, although that could be tied with Ariane since the two of them were last seen together (with or without the Warden).
What can I say? I'm a mage lover.
EDIT:
I know that I picked more than one, but I was mainly picking which one from each campaign. I'd be fairly interested in seeing any of those four return. If I was settling for my absolute one character to bring back though, it would be Wynne!
