That's okay. I'll go back to assuming Cassandra is a love interest because no one has explicitly said she's not.

Pretty sure the EA emails were what people were going on, and not what Chris and David didn't say.

That's okay. It's easier to pretend there wasn't a reason to expect a demo in the first place.

I want to hear Lady Hawke and this facebook announcement was a disappointment, but frankly, I do not care. The demo seems like a really awful misunderstanding. Accidents happen, the game is not far away. I am just browsing out of boredom, and so are many others.

There was one small reason to believe their might be a demo today. But yes, it was pretty much all wishful thinking.

Still, we had every reason to believe we were getting something more than what we actually got, given the date that's been teased for almost a year.

And this basically says how I feel about this situation.  I never once believed there was going to be a demo until someone decided to put an offical announcement.  The evidence for believing there was going to be one as it was was extremely flimsy as it was.

Yes, we had absolutely no reason to expect something more than a continued beta for a facebook game. Especially considering the date that's been teased for almost a year. It's all about the demo, too.

There's actually plenty of logic to dictate there may have been a demo today. The EA Newsletter that came out in the Scandnavian countries did say there was a "demo out now" a couple of days ago, which I believe is supposed to come out on the 1st, the same day where several BioWare folks have noted they'd have a surprise for the community. Personally I didn't buy it, but it's understandable why people assumed there would have been a demo and all BioWare had to do was say it was a mistake when it first appeared and none of this would be happening. Not like this is pulled out of thin air.

We had every reason to temper that expectation given that they already told us it wasn't going to be the release of DA2. Since up until a couple of days ago there hasn't been even a whisper of a demo and all of our focus was on either info releases or Legends, it's perfectly reasonable that this release ended up being about Legends.

Since it was the original release date, I did expect them to replace it with something of a little more substance. Especially with the "few tricks" comment from Mike.

Despite the delay, it was still a date they had to make good on with something.
