[evil bob the jagex cat]

the demo may be like the mass effect demo it may have a cc and then some quest i think that demo was about 30min to an hour. does anybody know how long the pax demo is cause we may get that if anything at all

Ive tried this before. Companies NEVER do anything at midnight. Tommorrow at 8 am PST (i assume) bioware employees will push one button to launch the addition to the site with a link to the demo (if that is what 2/1/11 means). Stayin up till midnight isnt gona help.



ps. if they do release it at midnight this is reverse psychology

You are wrong. BioWare employees will be up all night.
There is planned maintenance after hours until 6AM EST.

Really? thats awsome means that hopefully 6am est we get the demo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or w/e it is tmrw. thats 3am pst!!! but it doesnt matter since i got classes early tommorrow so i gotta sleep

Even still, There is a decent chance that even if there is a demo it may not show up in the morning. Maybe by noon MST.

The demo would be handled by EA, not BioWare.
And EA always releases demos multiplatform. It should very well be for every major system.
And the marketplace for XBOX is always the first to refresh with all new content early in the morning.
It has been this way with every BioWare piece of DLC and every game on XBL.

XBOX live is probably going to be the most consistent. If it's not there when the server refreshes it's probably not coming anywhere, barring a major fubar situation. However since Bioware hosts the PC downloads on their website it could happen at anytime between now and doomsday....but probably not before 10am Mountain Time.

I've tried poking around the website for hidden files to download by making guesses based on the current naming schemes.  No luck so far.

BioWares overnight maintenance to fix up Dragon Age "Social Site Interaction", coincides perfectly with the refresh time of the XBL.
So I think it's more than a coincidence.

And I think it's more than coincidence that several Bioware employees are known to have seen this thread and the original, but haven't shut it down for being fraudulent. Still, that's not an iron-clad guarantee that a DA2 demo is coming tomorrow. I think it's likely, but I wouldn't put money on it.
