Alright, so I have a question then.... is the demo for "PC only" while the gamestop employees (LOLWUT?!) have access, or when the demo comes out Feb 23. it's for PC only?!



Seriously, if it's the latter, that's messed up. PC gamers already get the added awesomeness of modding.... way to screw us poor console gamers over.

Ditto here. At our local Gamestop, of the 6 or so people there the only person who knows anything about games is a nice, chatty 20 something woman :3 Sort of nice when you can talk about various genres over various platforms and debate the merits of'em all.

Only store I buy games from, that's for sure. Maybe we just lucked out with good stores

Despite by brief glee over the timing on this, I will say it kinda sucks it's PC-only. However, I just want to play around with the sliders and putter with the different classes.

Glad to see this day wasn't a complete flophole of disappointment.

I PURCHASE games brand new all the time so the developers will "get their cut"... Not gonna happen in this scenario. I'm buying this USED for the 360.

BIOWARE, you want to get in bed w/ gamestop and pleasure them all night long? Why, they treat you like you're their ****. They turn around and sell your ass and you don't even get a cut!

You're missing the point.

2-1-11 card was given to us last year.  Speculation has been constant since then.  Indications from Biware (you can find Mike Laidlaw's quote in this thread) was that something special would happen on that date.  Word of a demo was leaked.  No denial from Bioware.  An announcement today that beta testing on DA:L continues.

And now, confirmation of a demo on 2/23.

The point is that Bioware itself basically wants to tell us nothing about this game.

So Bioware puts a flier in an Xbox 360 game that is EITHER for a facebook game or a DA2 PC demo that is being tested by a retailer who barely carries pc games...and the jokes keep coming...
