I'm laughing right now because I don't know what to think.
I'm happy that there is a demo and we can look forward to the 23rd for something to sate us a bit before the game is actually released.
But I am utterly baffled by the decision to provide early access to Gamestop employees. I'm not a marketing expert, but isn't the point of a demo to give people a sample of the game? Why would you only provide the demo two weeks from release? And what do the Gamestop employees care? A good sized chunk of them probably don't care about Dragon Age at all, although I suppose they might hype the game up to customers and get people to pre-order.
It just seems like somebody (maybe in marketing, which has been strange for this game) dropped the ball somewhere along the line.
But, Yay! We get a demo on the 23rd!
I agree, the existence of a demo is good news, but confusion also abounds for me. In my experience many gamestop employs dont even care that much about games, let alone Dragon Age. Def. an odd decision by Bioware / EA / Marketing Division, whoever, really confusing.
I need to go to gamestop tomm. and see if any of the dudes working there will give me their code.
