I'm back from work. And I see somehow the other thread got shut down. Oh well.



Any news yet? Any updates to Microsoft's Xbox server? Anyone checked? Do you think they'll put up an announcement on the main page when the clock strikes midnight? It's 11:15 here.

If we don't get a Gameplay Demo, I'd still like a Character Builder just so I can check out the new look of things, and fiddle with the appearance of my own characters. Also, I heard somewhere that female!Hawke's breast size will be adjustable? I kind of want to play with that, just to see what the fuss is about.



And yes, I realize that bringing up the subject of breasts will easily lead people off-topic... Please try to stay mature, everyone....! *crosses fingers*

Today's (Feb 1st) is EA's conference call as well. Speculation that the SWTOR release quarter will be confirmed. A potentially big day for Bioware fans.

That can't be true....  but at the same time I hope it is.  I like a flat chested girl.  Just saying.

Oh snap, you're right. Yeah I recall it was at their Q3 Financials COnference call last year they let loose the "Dragon Age Title TBA" for Fiscal Q4 2011 (DA2) and "something far reaching" for ME (PS3 version).

So yeah, tomorrow (or today) will (hopefully) be eventful, one way or another:wizard:

I mean, I'm still hoping for a demo or character-builder or anything, but some sort of explanation from an informed individual is all I'm asking for at this point.

I would like a gameplay demo where you can choose 1 of the three classes, so i can get a sense of which one i'll be when i buy DA2. A character creator would be a welcome addition, but not necessary imo.



Anyway, within what time frame should this announcement be made? It's been the 1st of Feb for about 17 hours here.

Agree, something isn't right, I mean releasing a demo without any annoucement. Heck the ME2 xbox 360 demo had a pre release trailer. The fact that the devs have allowed these threads to continue is what really confuses me if it isn't true.

the funny thing about this demo hoopla is that all this discussion and thread existence is based on an email that said "demo" along with danish words. And we expect an explanation? hahahaha

Nope. The Danish and Finnish emails said "Demo Out Now!" while the Norwegian email said "Demo Available Now!". The emails that were newsletters that were from EA. And linked to EA. And were on EA's website.

Do we expect an explanation? Nah.

Do we expect a demo? Hell yes.
