The discussion started because the EA website for several European countries had a DAII banner proclaiming a demo was out now. After several hours the banners were changed, mention of the demo being removed. And no one from BioWare has confirmed or denied anything but had posted in the massive thread about it.

It's the first of February in the Netherlands, but I doubt we have a demo.

Nope. The Danish and Finnish emails said "Demo Out Now!" while the Norwegian email said "Demo Available Now!". The emails that were newsletters that were from EA. And linked to EA. And were on EA's website.

Do we expect an explanation? Nah.

Do we expect a demo? Hell yes.

haha Im gonna assume that last part was in jest.

Some people were saying that if a Demo is coming, it'll first be available on Xbox LIVE. And that should update in about three hours, so... here's hoping?

I'm in Sydney Australia. All previous DAO and ME2 DLCs have hit Xbox Live by 10pm. 4 hours from now.

haha, yeah I'm not waiting up till 3am to see if it is. I guess I'll check tomorrow before class. Maybe if it's up it will be done downloading by the time I'm back. Campus internet is slow.

If we do get the demo I'd mostly like the charactor creator cause I don't want teh spoilers until I can unrap the mystery of the whole game but if there is gameplay I'd like it to be something thats not in the game, like maybe a few weeks or months earlier Hawke deals with some bandits or some rowdy soilders who are on their way to Ostagar, or deserters who went "bugger that" at going to ostagar.

seems to me XBL gets update every day at 12:30pm or later at 3pm with the new Black ops map pack coming out today i would expect an update at 12:30 GMT

yeah this is true.
In australia i wake up every morning and there is new stuff then.
So it never really happens within the next 4 hours.

For the PC maybe. I completed LotSB and Overlord before midnight Sydney time on launch days. It doesn't show up on the front page of Game Marketplace straight away - it shows up first under the game-specific downloads initially. I'm keeping my figers crossed.

I would really love a demo myself. As much as I have loved all the bioware games, a demo would still be a nice incentive to keep my pre-order alive.

Still, Greywardens.com is giving away codes for the closed beta at wednesday. I belive they wouldnt do that if it was the open beta for Legends.

I still have a little hope for a demo...
