Err, not exactly 

The demo is being released to consumers on February the 23rd. This is 15 days before the North American release date,l 18 from the rest of the world (don't hold me to my word, I rashly assume the rest of the world has the same release date as Europe.)

Someone probably 'd this by now though.

Guys, lets go back a few days. None of us were even thinking about a Dragon Age 2 demo. Now, we're getting angered over the fact there is going to be one? I do agree, the way this whole thing was handled wasn't probably the best, but look at the bright side: WE'RE GETTING A DEMO. And who knows, someone might leak the demo on the 11th, it doesn't matter. We're getting a demo.

The problem is, unless you can IP ban, it wont fix this issue. Multiple trolling accounts are being created

Two weeks too long man. Well for me at least. I am more than likely going to run to the colorado mountains and freeze myself until the real deal comes out.

A lot of people are disappointed in the way marketing was handled

People don't like it and it does seem like somebody let the hamsters out of the cage at a bad time, but I would call what has happened a success. I mean in a single day they have 43k views on this one single topic. That is a lot of attention given and a lot of showing of a lot of interested fans(to the point of some showing a sense of "disgust").



Apple pulls crap like this all the time(same with Sony), not saying EA/Bioware did this on purpose, where they "accidentally" leak info that ends up stirring up the crowed and getting a lot of attention(and it works very well).



I mean sure, you have the righteous indignation that comes with it, but when you get this much added attention... well I can't see how that could be a bad thing in context.

Which I personally am grateful for, solely because I can now (instead of sitting in an uncomfortable chair) use my iPod while lying in bed to browse forums every so often.
