I dunno... have you been to Disneyland before? You might just feel differently after standing in a couple of those lines.
As long as you're back before the 8th though you'll still get to play the demo before the release! so... yay?

Actually I've had and am getting a season pass.  Yep I'm a video games, sci-fi, fantasy and Disney nerd!  I am so screwed lol   But yeah I'll still have time I'm just shamlessly shilling for a code in a 99% non-serious manner

I guess... It just seems like a pretty extreme reaction to a fairly meaningless date since there was never any context given. It seems like the lack of context was filled by everyones expectations and then people went Green Power Ranger on these forums when those expectations fell flat.

If we hadn't stumbled across the website for the demo, today would have gone down in memory for me as a "Be sure to drink your Ovaltine" kind of day, and it is likely that this thread would have imploded as well since it was on the verge of it when it happened. But the revelation of the demo helps smooth things over quite a bit. Still think bioware could have handled the announcement today better, but we will live.

Someone will more than likely leak the demo on the 11th anyways, it's a possibility. Still, lets just be happy we're getting a demo

I was at work on Monday (2/1/11) and my boss didn't tell me..... I feel so hated, it must be because I'm the youngest there, or because my manager was too busy playing Monster Hunter Portable 3 on his PSP...... hmmmmm?

People are acting like a little leaflet was the promise of a cure for cancer and peace on Earth! Half of this thread is full of the most inane, unnecessary and completely baffling overreactions to have ever come out of this board, and that's saying something.

Anyone that was significantly invested in the event or announcement that would occur on 02/01/11, and feels that investment was justification for this kind of level of overt outrage is a whiny, blabbering child. End of story.

Well ya they could have handled it better by actually having something. I personally do not believe that they had anything anymore for that date, because it got lost in the shuffle. But to me, since there was 0 context to the idea of the date it was more of a "haha, nice oops there".



I understand people think they could have handled it better(that is kind of a duh think to think, to me) but the rage and all the other stuff in this thread is nothing short of hilarious to me. I mean what negative did the lack of "whatever was supposed to happen" create, outside of failed personally created expectations?



I'm assuming people who are legitamitly upset about this had idea's in their head? I would think they must have to care to the degree show... unless it IS bloviating, but that is hard to tell on these forums to me.
