The internet seems to hate Gamestop and overexaggerates how bad it is, they are bad employees from time to time there but that's everywhere. The Gamestop employees are still trying to get a sale at the end of the game, whether they care for the game or not, so playing the game will allow them to give a more informed view on the game.

Fair, I guess. The internet does hate GS, but they do a stupendous job of grabbing every single exclusive pre-order bonus they can for all the top AAA games. Can't avoid them.

Hmm. I'd say that if Bioware's marketing division managed to sell this bit of early info for a good price, they've got themselves a great deal .

I don't understan the hate for Gamestop. Dont't know if it is problem with the American/English retailer. Here in Italy I know a lot of person who are fine with them.

Yeah, websites like that and Kotaku are always two steps behind what's actually going on lately. There's a beta for Gamespot employees on the 11th, and for public release on the 23rd. It's part of Bioware's website. Unless they magically photoshop that website away any time soon, it's confirmed.

OK fair enough, but one thing I still don't understand is why they bother to make the demo available to Gamestop employees exclusively between now and the 23rd?
Especially since this is a PC demo, surely they realise that it will be out in the wild within 48 hours and pretty much everyone will have access to it through torrent sites.

No. According to Kotaku the demo for GameSpot employees will be available on February 11th. And I'm pretty sure it'll be leaked all over torrent sites that same day
