As a conversation starter: What is the one main thing you would want to see in the demo?

Is there any new info at all? Come on I was gone for like 2 hours.

Actually, I'm really anxious to play around with a character builder. What can I say, I have a thing for dolls and Sims and whatnot.

But a gameplay demo would be awesome, too! I wasn't able to catch any of the convention demos, but I'd love to get a hands-on look at the faster combat.


EDIT: Oh yeah, and I said it before, but I'll say it again: At this point, I'll take an announcement/explanation, if nothing else. Demo would be great, but if it's not coming, I would love for a Dev to just come by and SAY SO. Please, Devs, all this silence and confusion is really disheartening!

I want to see the CC and combat more than anything. At this point, any news from Bioware would be welcome, though.

I certainly wouldn't mind a character creator either, but I would definitely prefer a demo (though I'd prefer both!). I mean, we know that one has existed in some form since we saw it at the game conventions. It's just a question of whether or not they took the time to make it a demo available to everyone.

For a long time, I thought it would be the open beta for the DA:Legends facebook game. It might also be a demo or a character creator. It might be a character trailer. For all we know, the original insert was for DA II, but that got pushed back.

Even if it is a demo, it might be delayed. I've seen that happen several times with BioWare and DA:O.

LOL This is so reminiscent of how my friend talks. Anything I say will be modified and repeated back to me with 'YOU' in front. Examples: 'That guy is  bald', 'YOU are bald'; 'That's a fine looking dining table', 'YOU are a fine looking dining table' etc etc

Anyway, this is just getting silly.

So, for on-topicness, since I don't own a console, tell me people, when do your networks and marketplaces get the demo shiet, if there is any? And do they usually announce before or after it hits the public?

The way I see it is. The Devs said we'd hear Fem Hawkes voice soon right? What better place to hear it than in the demo?

I believe PSN usually updates around 4pm Pacific. So the PS3 may be getting it last if live updates at the usual time. Though of course the PC version could update at any time (I'd assume earlier than 4pm).

And now I'm really going to bed.  I didn't want the topic to be derailed so I kept posting for a bit longer

Well I just hope they say something before 7:00 because I got classes. But if they don't, then I guess I have something to look forward too when I get back to my apartment..

 the  paper in my awakeing box said   2/1/211  and id like to know if that was frist date for DA2 or  well they give us  the demo or something it has racked my brains for about 8 months now lol
