The only thing that kept me warm was my red hot rage.
Now with this gamestop reveal... I'll heat up my block.

Bioware is simply letting gamestop early access so that way they can help more customers be informed of their game and increase the success of dragon age 2., not to offend the fans. They have already hinted on the website that a demo will be released for all consumers o the 23rd. As a gamestop employee and huge bioware fan, this is an extremely helpful tool. Not only do i currently point out bioware games as excellent RPGs to my newer gaming customers, i can also help accurately describe the game to my core gamers and get one and all excited for the game which is what bioware intends. It is just simply a marketing promotion. It wasn't meant to anger any fans. If anything, the possibility of a demo is more positive then ever!
Anyway, that is all i wanted to say.

But If you say fans are entitled less, you contradicted yourself by saying first that fans aren't entitled to anything since you say they are entitled to less. Can you chose? Are they entitled to nothing or are they entitled to less?
If you read what I said, I said "If they're entitled to anything..." That means I don't think they are, but some people think entitlement exists in this free market of ours. I gave you arguments for both, so we wouldn't have to argue over the point of "Are customers entitled to anything?"

According to the website, it is hinted that a demo may be available on the 23rd for all consumers. The gamestop demo will not go live until the 11th and end on march8th.
It's also unprofessional for when the rage comes, which they should have expected, to call there most loyal fans melodramatic crybabies and refuse to talk about the issue.Upsettingshorts wrote...
You misled yourselves if you connected 2-1-11 and the leaked demo image. A lack of contrary evidence is not evidence. A coincidence does not make a connection.
If Bioware was so much as restricted from commenting on either until a set time (which has passed for 2-1-11, and has not for the demo image), they were doing their job as professionals by saying nothing and simply enforcing site rules. Which is precisely what they did.
It would be unprofessional to violate whatever agreements bind them to such silence just to placate some upset people on the internets. Stan Woo says he sent off an email to whoever could give answers, all that's left to do now - or I'd argue all we should have done in the first place - is wait and see.

Let's get this back on track and civil, folks. Name-calling and hostility are not really welcome on these forums.

Then you say they are entitled to something. You can't say "if they are entitled" and mean they are not entitled, especially when you tell they are entitled less.
And customers by the way are legally entitled to many things, and rightfully so. Read some laws.

As someone who has never posted before, let me clarify.
"greetings gamestop employees, on behalf of all of us at bioware, we'd like to thank you for all of your support over the years. As a special "thank you", we'd like to give you an advanced, exclusive sneak peek at the highly anticipated, dragon age 2 pc demo! Dragon age 2 is going to be one of our best games to date, and we're really excited to get to share it with you before anyone else!"

I'm pretty sure it will be, just not officially...Gobbi82 wrote...
Why couldn't they just make the demo available for everyone in the first place ?
