Pc only demo is not a surprise

1) Character creator was pc only for dao.....

2) Pc gamers are the most bothered by the consolization of the game and so they need to show with a demo that they are wrong.... i suppose that pc preorders were bad....

I would like to repeat that publishers letting retailers preview something before fans is not new. Book publishers, record companies, and movie studios do it all the time.
It's no different than inviting bloggers to an exclusive preview screening a month before the movie is released. It's really sort of a common technique actually.

Honestly folks. EA didn't convene a meeting at the Hall of Doom and decide to give gamestop a demo just to spite you.

1)There's no indication, anywhere, that it will be PC only when it's realesed to the public on the 23rd. hell, the fact that it says "available to all customers" sounds to me like it will be fore PC/Xbox/PS3 for sure.
2) you may very well be right, but i'd advise against generalizing your personal opinion to encompass all PC gamers. that never goes well around these parts.

It was a recent posting thing so it was overlapped. If there was a way to access it then I'd be glad to here of it, but to get to someone's recent posting all you have to do is click on there picture.

This would be the best marketing if it would draw big public attention in gaming circles. People always fancy to try out something in advance not available to all, and then hype about it to other people. However Gamestop employers hype games regardless do they have a demo access. It is their job.

We are melodramatic crybabies, as a whole. Personally I get that way sometimes and frankly it's not the insult your making it out to be. It's not like Gaider even holds it against any of us, he understands the impulse but that doesn't mean he's going to bow to it.

Anyways this thread has been fun. So many of the "RAEGERS" were obviously screwing around earlier that it's funny to see others totally missing the humor. Of course the real ragers don't help matters....

Now people not bothering to read the OP and asking stupid questions when I bothered to edit it and keep it up to date.. RAEG!

He said his words on his own private page as a status thing, and then under a comment on something he said.
It was more on his profile page than anything. Which is worse in my opinion that he wouldn't just come in and say so to our faces.

Well I think that a demo--any demo version of DA2 is good. Up to this point, I have not been able to make a decision on DA2. I found that a lot of previews I read about the game have been poorly written and tell me little about how the actual game works. Playing a demo helps me get a better perspective on the game than 3rd party views, cinematic trailers, or the marketing of this game. So, thank you Bioware and EA for this.

I'd prefer a conversation thread where they would admit that they were even a small amount at fault and then they can say that the majority of us did blow it out of proportion. (whcih most of us did)
I'm more frustrated over how they dealt with the issue as a whole, other than any lack of a demo.

and, @stephen1493 all Gaiders recent comments are within the last half day and most are in the "Dialogue?" thread, so it was long enough ago to get pushed out of the recent posts on his page

Yesterday was when he posted his thoughts on the issue. Which is why I have no idea how to pull up his comments back. Feel free to send him a "Why Gaider?! WHY!!??" message. I find that those are the best.

Except they stated last night that they didnt tlak about it, because they had nothing to say, and then indirectly hinted that its because that CAN'T say anything, probably due to a NDA. Yeah this thing is a mess, but if a NDA is the reason why communication got royally screwed up, Im not gonna hold it against them.

Plus they;re devs, not marketers.

I'm not asking for a reveal, I'm not asking for a demo, I'm not even asking for Lady Hawke.
I'm just asking them to treat there fan's like they say they do in the paper's.

1.) He's not allowed to talk about it at this point.
2.) It's not his job.  Any interacting the Lead Writer does on the forums is by choice and if often done in his free, spare time. Be thankful you get anything.
3.)Those whose job it is to talk about such things are currently not allowed to despite being aware of it.

Be patient.  None of us here is worth a reprimand/getting fired (possible but not realy going to happen)
