My ideal demo is never going to happen. What will happen is getting to choose male or female default Hawke, choose a class, then get thrust into a combat-heavy segment of the game with little to no context.

I heard that in a different demo for ME 2 that was just CC and Lazarus station you could import it in. Highly doubt something like that here. BTW, can someone get the pictures from the other thread in here for any newcomers.

Honestly, if we end up getting some sort of demo, I just want to be able to get a feel for how the PC version is. Of course, a Character Creator or a bit more about LadyHawke would be an awesome alternative as well

Oh man I certainly hope not. As much as I like default male Hawkes appearance, I have no interest whatsoever in playing as any default appearance.

Yes, I would like to have an honest try for myself for this "new faster combat" I don't really put much faith in reviews fore everyone responds differently with games. DA was a tiny bit slow when playing warrior. I have faith!

Ideal demo? I would love a little combat, a little talking, a cutscene or two. CC not necessary for me, but could slim down time it would take me at launch to actually get into the game instead of 8 hours tweaking every option.

Character creation, a combat scenario or two (maybe a mini-story, about half-hour to hour of gameplay if possible) along with some dialog choices, companion banter, and the cherry on top would be starting off close to leveling so when you beat the first or second combat you level and can see what that is like.

1) Full access to graphics options on the PC so we can know exactly where we stand and how to tune the options before the game comes out.
2) Gameplay that includes more than the exaggerated portion, but the normal gameplay as well.
3) A demo save that transfers to the full game. I won't use this in any case, but ME2's demo has it, so it should be here too for those who want it.
4) At least some customization potential.  I want a reason to play through this demo more than just once.

It might be related to DA Legends.... or it could just be cross company excitement regarding a demo. I guess we all just have to wait and see....

It was always a possibility that the first of febuary was legends, and the demo slip up was not intended for this date at all. They could be looking at a demo a week before release for all we know.

Dude. If it's Legends and not a demo for the actual game, I am going to be highly annoyed. Highly. I was excited for Legends, but don't toy with my emotions like that. I want a demo, damn it.

Well there are 3 things that could happen at the moment.

1) DEMO or something else DAII
2) DA:L releases something
3) Absolutley nothing... the bastards...

Or a combination of a billion other things but thats beside the point.

Maybe, though I'd prefer a full release.  Though I think I'd still prefer the demo overall.  Maybe...

Anyway, I doubt the insert in the Awakening box would signify a beta... that just seems too definite for a beta for Legends.
