How many trees had to die to produce the card in the Awakening cases? If you're going to use the remains of a once living creature as some kind of cryptic message to hint at the date for some kind of reveal, then you should definitely follow it through.

They probably would but they are not obligated to do so.  Gaider stepped in pretty quickly to quash the rumor that Fenris was a mage when a magazine article misidentified him as such.  The situation is similar but isn't completely analogous.

I am speculating being that ME Bioware has been very very very quiet and that date that came in DAOs expansion pack could've been a very subliminal ME 2 message.

As a policy BioWare does not confirm or deny speculation on un-announced projects.
Any hype is self-induced.
You should have the decency to realize that.

Hm.. CoD:BO First Strike DLC and new demo -  EA SPORTS™ Fight Night Champion Demo -  have already been released today :-/

I doubt they update XBL more than once per day.

EDIT: some kind of new Rock Band DLC have been added today to which already makes 3 new items on XBL today.

We've gotten conflicting reports on when  Bioware gets their XBL updates normally and a quick google search doesn't settle anything either.  I can't really speak to it either way as I don't have an XBOX myself.
