This demo better be real. If its not bioware is just ****ing with us they could have just said its fake and got it done with.
As a policy BioWare does not confirm or deny speculation on un-announced projects.
Any hype is self-induced.
No ****ing involved.

Let's stay on the demo topic to avoid a lockdown. Have there been any explicit statements that something will be revealed today, or is it all just pure speculations?

Bioware is in Edmonton, Edmonton belongs to the mountain timezone. Mountain timezone is in affect in three countries in north america. They definitely aren't country specific.
But Mike did say they had something planned for this date.Rixxencaxx wrote...
The whole 2/1/11 is related to the original date of launch of the game.....then it was delayed...
The demo thing almost sure was an EA mistake.

Don't mislead Alodar, Bioware has shot down false rumors before hand. Most recently the Fenris mage rumors. They aren't obligated to do so by any means but don't state something as fact when it is not.

None except for the mysterious 1/1/11 image that came inside of copies of Awakenings.
That's probably because EA doesn't have a japanese subdivision anymore. All japanese releases for games are moved under EA's partner program apparently. A company called Spike is doing the handling the Japanese localization and distrubution.spooky3 wrote...

Last year when BioWare released Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening (the single expansion pack to Dragon Age: Origins) copies of the game shipped a flier teasing something Dragon Age-related for February 1, 2011. Most assumed it was the release date for Dragon Age 2 (which has since been revealed to be March 8 in the US and March 11 in the UK). BioWare has been insistent that the date is for a “surprise."
