Just add three hours to your time and reverse it.

5 + 3 = 8.

5PM is 8AM in Edmonton.

On-topic: A demo is a reasonable posibility, and not as restrictive as it would have been with Origins, due to the 6 origin stories. Or we could get a character creator again.  They might also release a gameplay video, or official character announcements/trailers.

I'm personally hoping for a demo and/or companion announcements/confirmations.

You said it was 5PM where you live. Not 4PM. So you add 3 hours to your time and reverse it. If it's only 4PM, then add 4 hours.

Just saw that Dragon Age Legends announced in the "News and announcements" Section so don't get your hopes of for the demo, i didnt expect it anyway they would tell it at least one day before a demo would be released :innocent:.

So that was The Feb 1 hype we can all move along in peace now.

Edit: And if there would be a demo (on the xbox anyway it would have been online right now because it is updated already even fight night demo is online)

I didn't say it would't be coming at all, i just said it won't come today.
I still hope for a demo though  but today won't happen i am 90% sure.
Maybe some announcements about the demo but nothing more today

LotSB came on xbox live around midday so that also shoots a hole in your theories.  Most stuff comes on in the morning but it's not an unbreakable law of physics Scotty.

Apparently, you could continue from your save in the demo, so it was more like getting part of the game early. I don't see them doing that for DA2 though, since it'd need a working save import system too.

That was announced three months ago, and it's still in closed Beta. People are still passing around Beta Keys. If it's Legends, there will be an official announcement today by a Developer.

if it was the release of dragon age facebook game there hopefully would have been an announcement that stated that the demo for dragon age 2 was false, i should hope that they wouldn't let us go this long with the demo theory just to smash our hopes

Bioware has never released DA content this early in the day, at least not for any of the DLC.  They always make their announcements later in the day than this.  Something should be coming, but whether that is the demo is another issue.

Besides, DA Legends isn't even made by Bioware, and it wouldn't exactly be much of a surprise given that we've known about it for months.

Nah I've been saying there will be nothing official till 10am local Bioware time at the earliest  from the beginning.  If there is anything at all. The only question would be if anything would slip beforehand or if it was indeed real. No need to worry yet.

My mistake i didn't see that haha wow i feel stupid right now:lol:
Damn nightshift's....

But i still stand it won't come out today, (for xbox anyway because it is fully updated for today.)
Even Major Nelson who gives rundowns of downloads to come for xbox live did't mention it.
For example the Alternate Appearance packs for ME that bioware didn't annouce are already confirmed by Major Nelson.
