^^^ I am also on this, I mean even Laidlaw said something about showing off FemHawke voice and all that stuff. Knowing Bioware, they could be screwing us really good. Well Evil Chris is called Evil for a reason. Think about it.

This entire situation would have been hilarious if the demo rumors were just that; rumors. But EA/Bioware made a mistake in releasing that image so of course people are going to get their hopes up.

Cheaper to buy the UE now.

Two weeks ago all the DAO DLC on Live was 50% off (or around there), the items cost 1440 ($18) altogether.
Last week NewEgg had Awakening for $15.

If you were to buy them now, it would be over $66

You would think the DEVs would come in a say SOMETHING, it just doesn't add up. The problem won't go away on it's own, Dev's chime in anytime.

I'm still giggling uncontrollably. Quite possibly unprofessional as hell, but pretty funny. Perhaps this is Bioware having fun with us only to announce something else, maybe they really think the closed beta is worth hyping up. Best to assume the latter and move on, I suppose.

Well, I'm starting to really get confused

At a logical side, this isn't any good for marketing or anything like that, A demo would be 10x more effective.

So the only conclusion is that they most likely wanted to release DA:2 at the date, but later changed their mind and HAD to announce something so they did this.

Don't forget there is also the possibility of Chris screwing with us. Big Time.
