Did it ever get confirmed anywhere that a demo even exists? Like, as in the actual words "we are developing a demo/we will have one" or was it all just speculation?

And then we're told that if a demo is going to be released that we'll find out "eventually". I'm not frothing at the mouth or about to smash my head through a wall but I'm definitely annoyed.

Yeah, it doesn't really make much sense to me they would let it go on this long over a mistake that EA made. All it accomplishes is a LOT of pissed of fans....

There was a confirmation, but they only just recently retracted there announcement.

A couple official banners said 'demo'...and it was then photoshopped out. And people took the lack of denial from the devs as confirmation.

So it was just speculation, really. Rampant, overblown, self-feeding speculation.

I don't give a damn about the demo. The date was hyped for a year and all we got was a crappy facebook beta, not even a trailer or something

It was all speculation. Bioware never comfirmed, nor denied it up till today.

The demo they've had at conventions is actually the full game and they just limit people's time playing it.

So no.  There is no demo in existence.

Thank you for the multiple replies! I am very behind on all of this stuff, so have been a bit confused trying to catch up! I really do hope that one comes out just so I can play it a little sooner than March 8 though

Why, BW? I realize that this Legends game is probably a cover up for something that didn't quite make it, but couldn't you have given us something else?

Some footage? Female VA? Companion reveal or VA? LI confirmation for a few characters? Something that actually was tied to DA2?

It's just so disappointing because  not all of us will be able to enjoy this [cringles] facebook [/cringles] game and announcing that it's just a little bit less beta than before really doesn't make much sense to me.

Define demo.

There is a demo that's going around to the conventions.  But that's true of almost all games and they don't have to get released to the public .  There has been no confirmation or denial at this points and several thigns that point to positives and several to negatives.

In any case, since David's post was still an avoidance of the question of whether there's a demo in the works, that leads me back to square one that it seems likely that there is one.

So its Feb 01 and almost 2pm...there is a few hours before the day is over. I think maybe your hopes are going to get shattered by those jerks before the day is out.
