In seriousness though I do think that having the option to cry is a little....ummm....silly. Your party/squad wants a leader who can "stay strong" in those situations and not go all postal. Shep/Hawke/Warden is supposed to be that central "pillar of stability". If they just suddenly break down and start crying because of their past of something tragic, ad nauseum, sure it may show their "human" side, but it also shows "vulnerability" which if it happens right in front of the enemy, it is something that they can exploit.
Shepard put it best in ME1 when talking to the Turian General on Shi'ira's behalf: "Never let the enemy see your weakness" and in these situations, one never knows when the enemy "may be looking". So crying, yea, that's a big No-go on all stations.

Oh puhlease..all that "pillar of stabiltiy" bs.
Yes, my party/squad definately wants their leader to be an emotionless block.
There is a difference between "keeping cool" under pressure and being an emotional cripple.

Why? This is a pretty reasonable request.
In your opinion.
Then why dont they make it where he/she only cries based off your characters personality from past choices. That way its way more likely that when the players character cries, the player won't mind or might even join in. And it can always be done well with the right music. Always.

We all know that the best thing to do with any emotion is shove it deep down into the big dark festering cancerous ball of hatred in your gut and let it build and grow keeping you warm with the fires of rage until you finally explode in a fit of blind hatred and bloody violence that sees you come to in a stand off with armed police and a dozen red dots decorating various parts of your anatomy.
Sorry thinking about the ex wife.
