I had heard there was a bug that caused you to lose all your unlocked weapons aside from DLC items on a New Game Plus playthrough. Is this true?

Hasn't happened to me since I LOST MY SAVE DATA xD, but yes there is a bug, and according to other users you lose your armor, and all your weapons as well. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Yeah this happened to me last night. I tried importing a saved file to start a new game and you do start off wearing your armor and you have all your weapons from the last game, but when you go to change armor or weapons it goes back to the default ones as if its a new game. I think it has something to do with the comic-book intro.

Yeah, it appears at first that you have everything until you actually get to the armor appearance console and or check the armor on the Normandy. So, no. Hopefully they address this soon so I can play Insanity.

Personally, I like this bug at the moment. I wanted to switch my NG+ Shepard over to using the Revenant instead of using the Claymore, anyway. It does reset your Collector Ship weapon choice, correct?

@Schneidend yeah it appears so. My collector assault rifle also disappeared.

Yes, go to new game and import an ME2 character.

DLC items you may have had like from the Firepower pack will carry over though so if you purchased those items, you'll have them in the NG+ too.

Does anyone know if Bioware is looking into this? It's kind of an annoying little bug.

I doubt this would be a priority on thier list with all the other game breaker glitches. I honestly did not realize you retain your weapons until I came to this forum. I played 70% through on Insanity and it just makes it more challenging = )

I'm sure they know about it by now.
This is the thirdr thread about the bug that I know of, and one thread bioware posted a reply or two in, so I think they are looking into it, not sure is it can be fixed or not.

Count me in as one that enjoys this particular glitch as it makes insanity a tad more challenging.
