Hi everyone! Ok so I searched around a bit and ran across this http://social.biowar...x/569359#604626 which tells me how to create a tattoo from scratch. Very useful, though I'm looking to add a tattoo from a mod as a preset. I created a head morph and made it a preset with the tat I wanted but the tat didn't stick. Any ideas on how to do this? Thanks.

Is it a Dalish Elf? Custom tattoos in presets don't seem to work for them. They should for other races though. Your alternative option is to add the tattoo to a custom diffuse texture - that will definitely work. You won't be able to use tints in that case though, as technically it won't be a tattoo.

Yea it's a dalish elf. Well I can add the tat in toolset and the transfer it to a savefile to play ingame, but I seem to have trouble with a bald spot smack on the back of the head lol.

That would be on the scalp mesh then, not the face (unless by back of the head you meant the neck). There is no provision for scalp tattoos using the vanilla tattoo system.

Well I'm not trying to do a scalp tat. When I create my head morph in toolset and transfer it ingame, the hair I choose has a patch of hair missing. When I made a preset of the morph, the hair is fine. This seems to happen everytime I go through this process of transfering a morph ingame. Is there a way to do this without getting a patch of hair missing? Thanks.

By "transfer" I presume you are talking about save editing? If so then you are probably out of luck - that's an imperfect process at best.
