When I click the "party character" icon, all the characters are present on a new page. To select one I move the mouse above(not on) the characters image and then that lights up the image. If I then left click, the character that is lit is selected and his/her portrait shows up in the party selection area at the bottom of the screen. The dog sits in front of Alistair and Morrigan is in front of Sten. No matter where I place the mouse cursor when trying to select Alistair or Sten, only the dog(for Alistair) and Morrigan(for Sten) light up. I can't add either Alistair or Sten to my party. The screen area that lights up the dog (or Morrigan) extends from about an inch above his head to the very top of the screen.

Does any one have this problem? More importantly, does anyone know how to fix this problem. I've found only one post from someone who coundn't select Sten. He posted 9 days ago and has had no responses.

I had the same problem. I just backed out of the party selection screen and saved the game, then loaded that save and I could then select them both. Just a temporary fix but at least it worked for me.

I'm having the same problem. I'm going to have to loose 4 hrs of progress to reload my last save.

You don't have to reload an old save. Just save your game, then load that.

I had the same problem. Both Sten and Alistair cannot be selected.

I had the same problem, but the save-exit-reload tip worked for me. *shrugs*
