According to this article at least...http://zconnect.org.uk/article/495

Bring on the controversies! Remember Fox News and how stupid they looked when they did that stuff on Mass Effect? Did that end up making Mass Effect sales go up because of free publicity?

Does this mean I'll get to see Leliana's boobies after all?

No, but broodmothers boobies aplenty.

Fox News got free publicity too. The media wants attention, by definition. Call me cynical, but I don't ever trust the motivations of the news media.

lol!
The Mass Effect controvery was epic...
Remember how Mass Effect shows full frontal nudity and allows players to engage in sexual minigames?
O wait, it doesn't. That was just something said by a person on Fox News if I am correct.

To relay the great news that BBFC says Dragon Age is porn.

The rating and what it means. In the article it talks about R18 and stuff a bit.
Remember the Mass Effect controversy? I wonder if Dragon Age: Origins will have a controversy on the news.

Lol yes it will be for this so pink broodmother. ;) And this news from zConnection is either an error or a bad attempt at publicity I guess. :D

I am not saying it is correct, I just saw it posted on N4G. But man, what happens if Dragon Age Origins gets a controversy on say the news or something. More lols at how uninformed the people discussing it are maybe? I dunno.

BBFC rating is 18, not R18. http://www.bbfc.co.u...E7?OpenDocument

It seems obvious that this is merely a problem with the display on the site with someone unfamiliar with the BBFC rating system

What I mean is who cares what people who are not game lovers or fantasy fans say or thing. The point is mute, If some real outside discussion concerning banning games for content arises then of course we need to come together to confront it, but speaking for the older gamers, I really coluld do without any sexual content in DAO at all. It really isn't adding any joy for me, actually it will probibly just consume game time. As a Mass Effect fan, the sex threads just bored me truly. And, as a FOX news fan, any reporting about the content of games I'm sure is directly related to the negative exposier younger players are receiving which I do worry about. Parents are responsible for monitoring this in my opinion.

The funny thing about reporting is that you're supposed to actually do some background checks on a few facts. Or something.

Yeah, it is good they report it but FOX turned it into a witch hunt and stated things about Mass Effect that was not true in any way. They took some rumours and turned it into ridicilous news. Took a psychologist that havent even played the game and made her say it was bad for kids. Hey, it was like 5 seconds sequence who showed nothing and btw, its a choice.

There will probably be "Nudity Mods" for DAO a scant few weeks, maybe even days after the toolset is released I predict. THAT is when the controversy shall erupt.

I thought this was about the BBFC story, not ranting against the admittedly execrable Fox News channel.

Somehow, though, I don't think a thread with the word porn in its title will die like Napoleon requested.

Hello? The clerk that enters Steam's ratings made a typo that's oppressing gamers and the BioWare community. Now 12 year olds won't be able to make Buttface the Dwarf. This is the sort of controversy the media, in this case Steam, love to stir up and slander the gaming community with.

This is an implicit abrogation of free speech, and I won't stand for it. I've supported Steam previously, but from now on I'm only watching CNN for my gaming news.

If Americans don't fight for their liberties, they will lose them. Has history taught us nothing?

If parents are responsible for this monitoring, in your opinion, you strongly disagree with game censorship?

Guys, you should read more carefully. The linked site says the CC is given a certificate like the one they give pornographic material not the game itself. Now I'm wondering if I missed the "disable all clothes" button somewhere in the CC options, if this is just an attempt to draw some attention to the site which reported this or if this is just a mistake Bioware made and corrected, cause I can't find a certificate anywhere on the CC site. In any case this is just lame. Could be a prank. The Mass Effect discussion by the slimy liars at FOX was ridiculous enough.
