This is a thread for people to discuss these 2 lithos.  I'll probably add something to the title and this first post when we get to the release so it can be another "release is here" thread too.

My big question, any guesses as to what the cerberus litho actually is?

Update:  Yes, the thread name change does mean what it looks like, there will be no purgatory, sorry for those who wanted one.

Thanks to Ms Domino for info updates that I can post on this thread

Well, we now have the picture, looks like all speculation was wrong, but I think it looks great!  Next up, release date!

I've just had the idea of adding the pic to this first post, hopefully it's fairly simple, never quoted a pic before, here goes:

Posted Image

The first release has come and gone out of the blue, rather strange in my opinion, but there's going to be another one at some point, hopefully with a bit more warning.

Ms Domino has announced the date and time of the second release, 29th April, half released at 10am MST, half released at 5pm MST.  Feel free to use this thread as another release is here thread at the times of release.

Time zone wise, that's also 5pm and 12 midnight UK time, and 2am and 9am Australian eastern time.

Other time zone info:

British Summer Time: 5pm and 12 midnight
Central European Time / Cape Town Time : 6pm and 1am
Eastern European Time: 7pm and 2am
Moscow Time: 8pm and 3am
Yekaterinburg Time: 10pm and 5am
Omsk Time: 11pm and 6am
China / Western Australia Time: 12 midnight and 7am
Irkutsk / Japan Time: 1am and 8am
Central Australia Time: 1:30am and 8:30am
Yakutsk / Eastern Australia Time: 2am and 9am
Vladivostok Time: 3am and 10am
Magadan / New Zealand Time: 4am and 11am
Alaska Time: 8am and 3pm
Pacific Time: 9am and 4pm
Mountain Time: 10am and 5pm
Central Time: 11am and 6pm
Eastern Time: 12pm and 7pm

Assuming time zone websites are correct, that should be right as long as the daylight savings time of anywhere doesn't change between now (wednesday) and litho release.

Right, the first release has gone, I still can't figure out if there's going to be a second or not.

Like an internal view of minuteman, yeah, I thought of that. The illusive man's room is in his own litho, so maybe it'll be another part of it, like one we haven't seen. Dunno who'll be in it though, if anyone. I think possiblities include some combination of IM, Miranda, and Jacob, though probably not Jacob. Anyway this is all just guessing, you wait we'll be completely wrong :).

I don't think stardazzled was talking about Minuteman Station. After all, Minuteman Station was more of a "communications hub" between Shepard and the Illusive Man. As stardazzled was speculating with the final DLC, it could be pertaining to Cerberus's ACTUAL base of operations. Like where the Illusive Man REALLY is.

And that would make a very interesting piece of art, especially after seeing how the Shadow Broker's hideout turned out.

Ah, my mistake. I dunno if they'll be doing a dlc litho though, it would be a bit of a sudden jump from not knowing where they're at with dlc lithos and if they'll ever do them to having one announced for within the next couple of weeks. My personal opinion is that it wont be to do with dlc. From what you've said though, I doubt it'll be minuteman. I hope it's not something boring and white like an internal view of the lazarus research station. Maybe it'll be like a cerberus montage litho, like with minuteman, lazarus station, illusive man, miranda, jacob, and the illusive man's room all in one. I doubt it would be that, but in my opinion, that would be cool, I'd buy that

The two mentioned in the forum title are out soon (http://social.biowar...0/index/5896375) and Jedi also mentioned that we'd probably get 2 new character lithos in March/April (http://social.biowar...index/5767059/9)

It's not just a rumour, they're out soon, Jedi's announced it in his own thread "this week and next in the store", and it's been on the centralised litho thread for a few days.

Jedi periodically sends me updates upon request so that I can update the future items thread.  I then share any litho related news with Angrygamer neither of us is inclined to post rumor in our threads if you see it listed in the Original post it is likely Jedi confirmed information. Any potential rumors within the ongoing threads themselves I can't speak for.

The Cerberus one might have to do with the medical base where Shep wakes up. Dunno, just an idea.

Yeah, I personally hope it doesn't, the only good litho you could make out of the lazarus station would be an outside view, otherwise it'd be boring and white, sort of like making a litho of a mass effect hospital I suppose.

I get the feeling that these 2 lithos are certainly not going to be that popular, they'll probably take somewhere between the time of thane and grunt + purg and prag to sell out I would guess. I may be wrong, but I doubt they'll be that popular, of course, until we know what cerberus is, it's only a vague guess.

i really do hope that they put a limit of 1 per customer per 48 hours so we get less ebay grabbing money junkies. i bet mordin's litho will sell out just as quick as the Tali one! What do you think his litho would look like? When he is singing or messing up in the lab and spreading that varren virus that is only contracted by intimate contact. XD

Probably when testing his new bioweapon "Not on us, of course. Didn't think I had to specify, but Joker got nervous". Anyway no offence but can we please keep this on topic.

Well it's better than the ideas I've had so far, which have been pretty much nothing at all!  I'm inclined to think it might work better as an indoor picture, though preferably something more along the lines of Wards or Afterlife rather than Purgatory or ... erm ... that other one (goes to look it up - oh yeah, Pragia).  I mean the latter two were okay, but neither as eye-catching or iconic as the earlier ones (actually iconic isn't quite the right word, but the thesaurus part of my brain seems to have gone on strike tonight...)

That's kinda the issue though...we already have TIM...and Minuteman, a particularly large Cerberus sanctuary. How the hell are they going to top either of those iconic Cerberus-related images? If its just Shepards 2nd birthplace (that first station), it'll be a shortcoming (imho)...but i really can't hardly imagine something else...even an interior shot - an interior shot of what? A Cerberus cell working hard? Maybe some humans conducting experimentations that would appear to obviously be outside the influence of the Alliance?...meh...worried but hopeful...certainly the most mysterious Litho title in a while, though...

^ Yes, that's what I was thinking too.
Or perhaps a piece of interior environmental art, like the medbay where they rebuilt Shep. Can see that happening.

Yeah, lazarus research station is about all we seem to be able to come up with that's a sensible idea. If it's not that, I bet it'll be something mysterious that no one will be able to guess and all thoughts will have been wrong, including this one, making it even more mysterious.

But if it is lazarus research station, I hope for an outside view, right now that's the only thing I can think of that fits the category of cerberus, cool, and good looking litho. I bet if it was that it would sell out a fair bit quicker than my estimate though, outside space views tend to be popular. I really hope it's not the inside of the lazarus station, that'd be boring.

One other thought. If it was that station from the outside, would they not have to do another portrait litho? I'm not saying it's impossible, and please correct me if i'm wrong, but I don't believe there's ever been 2 or more lithos released at the same time where there's a mix of portrait and landscape. Whether this is significant at all or not I have no idea.

Cerberus being mysterious I think is a good thing, it's about all there is to talk about with these lithos right now.

Was the Lazarus station destroyed? ...over run with robots, sure, but I don't remember anything about them actually ever dealing with it. Whcih if its that station, that'll probably be the reason I wont buy it; yet another station that your only connected with for a short time, you don't ever get to go back or see it again, and it might as well be destroyed...almost as 'weak' as minuteman, but at least there you feel more connected with TIM, its the birthplace of the SR2, and kindof a 'homebase' feel to it...and yet I don't own it, either.

Pretty sure the Project site was overrun and then abandoned, never really talked about after the first mission, but then again Shepard is the only priority.

Well that answers that question. With that in mind, I don't think that as a litho would be too popular besides a good space station picture. I think if it was that, it would probably be titled something else anyway, Cerberus sounds like a more general title. The only thing that thought brings to mind is my already unlikely suggestion of some sort of Cerberus montage. I think it'd suck a bit if it was someting like a few cerberus commandos deep at work on a computer with some thorian creepers in a force field cage. Boring. Then again, if it was that it'd be a mass effect 1 litho, so i'd still buy it. That made me think of something. You don't suppose it'll have anything to do with Overlord?

Edit:  One other thing i've thought of, I seriuosly doubt it will be this, but imagine if it was a cerberus logo.  That would probably be the worst litho ever, would be pathetic.  I doubt there's a cerberus litho design that would be more pathetic.  Just came to mind, so I thought I'd throw that thought in.
