If you check this page of ME wallpapers all of them shown have been released bar this one.
Ok there are changes on a number of them. But the styles are all the same. Additionally this is the only image I can find which fits so far for it.
Then again it could be something new. Afterall we know nothing of Pragia Exterior. Plus the below image isnt that inspiring
Just thought it was interesting to note anyway

Edit: Noticed that the Hugo Gernsback in there as well. So maybe not. Point is I hope this isnt the Cerberus Base

My money is on them both being new images. Allthough I don't have the ME2 artbook -- maybe there's some cool stuff in there that would still be good.

Btw, Ms Domino has said that as soon as there's a concrete release date, she'll post it in this thread.

The Cerberus Art in the ME2 isnt representative either. So im inclined to think new art too. Just thought it was interesting as those clean shiney interiors are representative of Cerberus bases.

Agreed - not sure why they did the whole 'blue' thing. Most curious how something like that can get approved but then multiple attempts at DA:O related material gets denied...DukeOfNukes wrote...
I don't understand it...the actual concept art version of Korlus looks SOOOOO much better than that ugly blue lithograph they made. I also really like the Hugo Gernsback...
Disagree - we'll probably get a 'pop-art' but I don't think they're ugly. I do think they move away from the original point of the Litho's, in that they were supposed to be concept images; raw artist imaginings unimpeded by existing material. Me thinks we'll either get a concept piece that none of us have ever seen before (unlikely) or they'll make something custom (and hopefully it won't suck). Either/or, I'm still drawing blanks as far as what could possibly significantly portray "Cerberus".DukeOfNukes wrote...
...but my guess is we'll get some ugly piece of pop-art or in-game image (ie Normandy, Miranda, Legion, Tali) for Cerberus instead.

HAHAHA...nice...I took it literally for a second too long, and was thinking back wondering where an axe was involved...but yeah, nice imagery. Hmmm...maybe those testing enclosures + Kahoku? - but that would be ME1 strictly speaking, I suppose...cheesetogo wrote...
Admiral Kahoku with an axe sticking out of his back?

People don't want the lithos because they are beautiful pieces of art, they want them because they have somebodies face on them...which is very sad.

Also, do you have Legion? It's very well done IMO -- I like it nearly as much as Thane.

Tali and Legion are two of the worst looking lithos yet. Normandy isn't ugly, but it's the exact same shot I can get from in game. This is compared to the stuff that doesn't sell...Grunt and Thane are beautiful, yet still sitting in the store, while Pragia and Purgatory are pretty amazing, but never even sold out their originals.

Tali has one of the best character looking lithos. Tali's lithograph setting was much harder to do than you think as there were two issues that the artist's must solve:
1: Meeting the demands of all the fans out their, a piece of artwork that would suit the fan base not her role (Which would probably be her personality or something significant about her like Rannoch - fan's recquirement
2: Actually getting most of her body in the lithograph, as anything less would have caused a lot of back lash - their requirement
I personally believe that they could have done little better as showing her tinkering on the Normandy was out (difficult shot to do as well), having her in combat was out, because the one they did tied itself more to her than all the options that they thought of.
Legion had by far the worst setting, as all the others were thought about far more carefully and developed far better, but Legion still has a decent lithograph.
Thane has by far the best setting, Grunt isn't bad and has an extrremely well thgought out background and Miranda's litho is all about her pose. Bioware did a very good job of the character lithos and being a uni artist myself i understand their decisions and i can't really fault them.

But anyway, granted, that image looks a bit cerberus base ish, but if they use that as the lithograph, they'd be lucky to get 10 sales in a year I think.
For cerberus, I don't think it would go down so well, whatever the image, doing it like the normandy and character lithos, I think it worked well doing the normandy and character lithos like that, but for an almost certainly landscape that's almost certainly not the outside of a space station, I really think that just wouldn't go with that style of doing things, I think those styles are meant for characters, and the normandy one would do spaceships alright, but anything else done like that would look a bit odd in my opinion. For cerberus, I'm hoping for a more older style litho, as in the korlus and before landscape way of doing lithos.
I wonder if we'll get a hint as to what it is when the date gets announced, somehow, I can't see that it would go down too well with litho fans not giving any idea of the image until release day.
I'm wondering a bit more seriously if a general title like cerberus refers to some sort of montage, like having several images together on one litho that would sort of sum up cerberus, get what I mean?

ME2: Cerberus will be released very soon as a single, followed by a Villian Series for DA2 sometime in April.
I will try to offer more information as it becomes available.

I assume you're refering to the DA2 character Litho's that were mentioned on a social network? - it's possible that those are the 'villian' Lithos...and as Ms. Domino said, it's slated for sometime in April...that may change, but we'll see.cheesetogo wrote...
And are the character lithographs still planned for April, or are those being pushed back?

I'm still hoping we don't have to wait until release day to know what the litho actually is
I think character lithos may, I may be wrong, but I think that may refer to the 2 mass effect character lithos where people voted on them. I can't see them coming out as soon as april now. May, perhaps?
Edit: Though it would be nice to know for certain if purgatory is scrapped so I can change the title of this thread if need be.
Edit 2: Ms Domino has told me, and this is an exact quote "Purgatory exterior is not currently in production." Nothing more can be revealed right now apparently.
