Maybe it's the last DLC before ME3? Because i am hesitant to believe the arrival is the last DLC before ME3. Because before November which is probably the earliest release time for ME3 and that's at least 7 months after arrival and that's a long time for a DLC.

That's the official statement, I don't see why they should lie about that.

Anyway my guess is that the big ship in the background is the HQ of Cerberus where the Illusive Man resides. There are a lot of clouds maybe because they are created artificially to conceal the ship. Kinda like the Shadow Broker's Lair.

From what is known about Cerberus in ME3, it might make sense to pay TIM a little...err.. visit.

We're not supposed to be getting any more story DLC for ME2 now.

Also, I personally think this is far more likely to be a cerberus base than earth, perhaps it's the normandy rushing for a meeting with TIM, though of course there are several different things the word "meeting" could mean.

well yes, that was one thing I thought of, I was thinking it could either be an actual meeting without any gunfire, explosions, or bad guys appearing from thin air, in sheps case, unusual I know, but anyway, I was thinking either a proper meeting, or various other things including threatening, arresting, going to steal vital info, maybe take over cerberus and reform it, or assassination. I just mean that there are lots of reasons for this litho to be shep going to a cerberus base.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but what is the size of this lithograph? They're generally 18x24 so will this one continue that trend or will it be a bigger on like Kirkwall?

Is tim's star a pic freed or for real?Because i think he's in  space as thermal scans can see straight through clouds.

Does anyone know when they are going to release this lithograph? I have been on the page all morning and no luck. I know in the past they normally release them on friday mornings. I just don't want to miss out on this litho.

Heh...I've been checking everyday for a release date since they released the preview. No word yet but I'm sure they'll let us know as soon as they find out.

They'll let us know a date first, i doubt they'll do a sneak attack. They're busy beavers at the mo so that'll be the hold up.

Can't wait for this lithograph. Need to get it to maintain the integrity of my collection. The 21st ME lithograph.

I promise that I will post the release date as soon as I have something concrete to post. As of right now, I would plan for the last week in April...SOON - (but not soon enough, I know, I know...)

So. Where would people place this on the litho wall of fame? - in terms of execution etc. Purgatory and Korlus nearing bottom and ilium, citadel and Tali being near the top.

Yes, now that we've seen the pic, I'm also wondering how popular this litho will be.

@thrakF

for me, just a instant buy. missed even the second normandy sale. this litho seems to me even more impressive than the "regular" normandy.

I think anything with the Normandy will be popular. You have an emotional attachment to it in the game. I think that's why some like Pragia or Purgatory aren't selling. They were just minor missions connected with a not that popular character in Jack.

That's why I think an ilos lithograph would do well. You have a strong connection from the first game, and the connection from Liara's painting in LoSB.

I'm putting this one on my calender, I'm not missing it.

Yes, see, someone else who agrees with me that the Ilos litho wold be good!

Anyway, yeah, I think it'll be popular simply because of the normandy, I like it partly because of that, and partly because it's a brilliant ships in the clouds view, in my opinion. As samara says "If three humans are in a room, there will be six opinions".

I beg to differ, the Normandy is space and with a better close up view makes the piece look more at home, than this new one which feels like Doctor who christmas day all over again - when he fights the infamous 'Master' on a flying ship.

*hmm, eyes it as a trade potential. What would you guys trade it for if you missed out on it?

The first release has come and gone, very strange out of the blue, but there's going to be another one, with hopefully a bit more warning.

Something interesting I spotted.  If you check the zoomed in shot of the Litho you can actually make out some Text on the side of the SkyBase

Looks like the word "Tera"??    First thought it might say Terra Nova but that has an asteroid as a space station. Plus its spelt wrong.

Or it could be another "R",  it kind of hard to see clearly right now.

Thought it was worth a shout at any rate :)

I Apologise if this is in the wrong section, but since most the Lithograph talk is here and the last thread I made to move the talk away fell flat I thought I would carry on because everyone else is still discussing it here.
