Ok, I read all 18 pages of this thread, which the nerd rage made me smile. However, really disappointed. I'm not signing up for a facebook game where I have to pay REAL money to heal myself. Not doing it even though I really like the unlockables. Disappointed over the DRM and the hack job on the Fadeshear and Shield of Orlai with Amazon. One heck of an announcement day. I'm overjoyed let me tell ya.

You know that You can manufacture 12 healing pots per hour on lower levels and even more later on in that game ?

there is a rumor floating around that those in the dark beta will be awarded a special DA2 promotional item, some say its a suit of armor. can anybody clear this up for me?

as far as I can tell closed beta testers will just get an armor in da legends when it goes live. I didn't read about any bonus armor for da2.

I think the bonus item is for Dragon Age Legends, not DA2.

When I opened Awakenings and that little 2.1.11 paper fell out I assumed it was hinting at Dragon Age 2. Then, when I saw it was to be released in March I assumed that the date was just pushed back, thus nullifying the date of 2.1.11.

Were people really expecting something else???

It is an armour, but not for DA2. Dark and closed beta testers will get this armour (every class can wear it) for DA:Legends

Giving us Character Creator would be E!pic. But who the **** cares, they gave us awesome facebook game. Its like watching awesome Michael Jackson and the moonwalk - he seems to move forward but really going the other way...

And the fun thing is you have to work really HARD to achive this! Heh.

Considering they were repeatedly told they would be getting something on that date even after the release date for DA2 was announced... yes.

Im beyond diappointed by this announcement. I dont care about the demo and I dont care about Legends.. It would have been great to get some new companion info or better yet a gameplay video introducing the companions and fem Hawke now Im just going to go back to lurking while nursing my broken heart wishing March 11 was here already..

Honestly, I thought whatever they planned on the date showing on the paper coming with Awakening got scrapped long ago. So I didn't care at all.

But my guess would have been the Dragon Age anime.
