It is an armour, but not for DA2. Dark and closed beta testers will get this armour (every class can wear it) for DA:Legends

what is the difference between this beta and the beta ive been playing for the past couple of weeks?

The developers are nice people however, I'd rather play the full game.

Or we're just not getting keys. Closed means closed. Some people will get keys, some will not.

Yeah... one could only hope though. I'm not necessarily bummed.

Why? For being able to buy the whole game (DLC/expansions) for less than a third of the price it would cost to get them as they come out (and half of what the game is preordering for now)?

I admit I'm curious about Dragon Age: Legends. Yet, it will be a passing curiosity if it's a marketing engine like other Facebook games. I would like for my friends to keep liking me, rather than hiding my updates.

Well you're in luck - it doesn't publish anything unless you tell it to. At least, that's the experience I've had with the beta so far.

facebook... I hope this isn't bioware testing the waters on turning into a Facebook developer. I don't care what items you get, playing a lame arse game on facebook isn't worth it.

Just for the record, you can't unlock any of the items in the beta. There isn't even info on how to unlock them in the game at the moment (it just says something along the lines of "Info on unlocks coming soon"), so it's not like any of us are getting a head start on these items. 

Also, I'm not too excited about the Jade Empire Armor because a bug in Legends is preventing me from switching my armor out in the first place and for some reason I don't have clearance to post in the DA:L beta forum to report this bug. What's the point of a closed beta if I can't report bugs to the developers?
