About time miranda has something that resembles battle gear. And Grunt's looks freaking AMAZING! Great work Bioware! xD

Yeesh people, the point of these alternates is to look more like armor, clearly, since so many people were whining about that. But it wouldn't be very protective if they never bothered to cover their heads,
I am sorry what ? How protective were the sunglasses for Jack and Thane ? Just exactly how protective is Grunts new armour when there are gaping holes in it and you can see his skin ?Shotokanguy wrote... so the best BioWare can do to give us a 3rd option that looks practical in combat without covering up the character's faces is to give them something like the visors.
Yes because in combat that is just what you need something obscuring your vision and distracting you with a whole batch of crap in front of your eyes
Is this a serious attempt to debate with me? Thanks for making me waste my time in letting you know you don't know how to argue.
1. Yes, those things were clearly meant to be protective. They aren't "sunglasses", they were some kind of spacey eye coverings. Holes in Grunt's armor? His arms are the only bare thing, EXACTLY like his normal armor.
2. It's freaking science fiction. The things are see through. It is not like they're wearing paper bags over their head.

Grunt: Also Awesome. Don't mind the visors actually.
Tali: Now I am slightly held back on this one. By just looking at it it seems to be a recolor, which is meh. But the internal HUD thing? And what is on Tali's legs?
Gonna be interesting to see the Romance scene of Miri/Tali with their armor on.

Sound shallow, but my one issue with her current outfits is that her butt is so big it's distracting. Plus, wedgie of the century.
But if it's not too bad then she'll probably become my second permanent squadmate. I could decide on who to always bring aside from Garrus.

I just don't see it. And why did they cover Grunt's mouth?
it looks like a muzzle.

Seeing all these messages make me think of scrooged
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Frank Cross: I want to see her nipples.
Censor Lady: But this is a CHRISTMAS show.
Frank Cross: Well, I'm sure Charles Dickens would have wanted to see her nipples.
Carpenter: You can barely see them nipples.
Frank Cross: See? And these guys are REALLY looking.

I might be wrong... but I think Miranda reverts to original clothes in romance scene.... so does Jack.
I know Garrus is in something totally different.

Also (and i'm sure this has been asked before), if others can wear plain clothes on missions, why doesn't shepard ever wear her non-armor outfit when hanging around totally safe areas, like Ilium or the Citadel... It just feels wrong.
Argh, i hope this gets fixed in ME3, don't dumb the game down any further please!

Liara (or ME1 LI/VS) was wearing awesome looking armor in the ME2 intro, why not give characters real armor like that?
I believe she was wearing Hoplite Armour, which was only available in the PC version of ME1 via using console cheats.

Lair of the Shadow Broker..............Illium is very safe. Citadel..............a few missions on the Citadel in both ME1 and ME2 also prove Citadel is safe.
The crew members that wear armor, wear it all the time. Even in the "safe" places. So Shepard is not alone. Really the only true safe place is on the Normandy, where if you noticed Shepard is not wearing armor.
Anyway, thank you Bioware!!!!! I welcome any ME2 DLC at this point. I don't think it should be too long after DA2 is released before we get another bridging DLC.
